  1. Perhaps I am simply being overly analytical here, but I am having a little trouble figuring out something in regards to donations. It says that only one donation is allowed per month, but is that one donation toa nation per month, or one donation by a nation per month? So could a nation, theoretically speaking, Sell five donation deals in one month's time, and reap 90 million over the next 6 weeks (given that 18 million $ for a 20$ donation seems to be the roging rate). Now, I am not exactly planning to do this, 100$ for my nation seems a bit much, but the very idea fascinates me (90 million to spend at will for a 7k NS nation!?!?!?!) Thanks for the clarification whenever it comes.
  2. I think that a more balanced way of fixing trades would be to allow a random regeneration of your nation's starting resources every 3 months without having to delete. If you let people choose, we would simply end up with a million people with marble and wheat, who then complain about all of the people who copied their idea, and how it is impossible to find a trade. Or we would end up with a million peoiple having a trade circle, and then staying with the same resources all of the time, negating the fact that they can change resources. Or they would be arguing over who gets to have the native polluting resources, so that they do not get the negative environment effects.
  3. This is a great question, aside from the idea of making a re-balance of resources suggestion. Another thing to consider in this is that Steel is now worth something, it ofres something like a 15% discount on ships, right?
  4. I have 3 people contacting me in game about it right now, so it looks as if it is Edit: Nope it is still for sale..............
  5. *bump* still selling July donation.
  6. SOLD Thanks for the interest and the people who messaged me about it. I am selling a 20$ July donation for 18 mil. I will have 2 open slots on the 26th of Jul, so I can send the donation as soon as I receive the first 3 million from you. If that sounds fair to you, reply in here so people know it is taken and we can work out any other intricacies by PM, in game preferably.
  7. What it means is that your actual soldier count is below 20% of your population, however, your soldier efficiency rating is higher than 20% of your soldier count. It is really just a warning that you are getting close. so no you do not need to immediately buy soldiers, but if war broke out you would be quickly anarchied.
  8. Sigged, also, to make this post worthwhile, why would you want to become landlocked? There is no way it would be worth not being able to be attacked Navally, to lose a trade, which is way more than the 5% of your income you might lose from a Blockade.
  9. sorry guys, I am out of free spots. I need to fill in those 4 resources exactly.
  10. bump. come on, someone has to be willing to join here.
  11. OK, I am desperate. So sue me. I will pay 3 mill or 100 tech for a person to join a trade circle for a minimum duration of 6 months. After 2 months I will pay out the full three million, or if you opt for tech I will pay 50 after 1 month and another 50 after two months. If you cancel before 6 months without making arrangements to replace yourself or paying the money back, I will hunt you down and kill you. If you happen to be stronger than me at that point, I will beg my alliance to do it. If that does not work I will buy a Manhattan Project and nuke you until you die or I run out of money and big red buttons. OK, so about the circle. I only need one person to join this circle to complete it, I think. The resources I need for that last slot would be iron and wheat. If the second to last person falls through, and he might, then I will offer this same deal to two people, who combine to have marble, rubber, wheat, and iron. The trade circle members and stats: Aluminum: Jushioc of Barfbag Cattle:schmutte693 Coal: Jushioc of Barfbag Fish: DrPayne Iron: Lumber: dbuck2001 of New Idaho Marble Oil: dbuck2001 of New Idaho Pigs: Schmutte693 Rubber: Water:DrPayne Wheat: Total Income increase (happy + straight money) = 18 infra cost per unit: 65% Infra upkeep:79% Population boost: 26% Other: Water does 10% enviro boost and increases citizens per mile before enviro penalty by 50. Aluminum boosts total aircraft by 10.
  12. sorry about the double post here but I wanted to BUMP this in addition to saying: through independent spamming, I have found another trade. So, all that this trade circle needs is a white team member (or someone switching to white) who has iron and wheat. IRON AND WHEAT ARE THE LAST TRADE NEEDED.
  13. Was waiting for a reply to buy my FM, go ahead and send the money whenever you are ready.
  14. LMFAO, one of the funniest things I have read on here in some time. also..... Grant
  15. SOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLD Also, SOLD. Alright I have an open slot to do a tech deal in and I ned it filled within the next 3 days. Do not worry about me getting deleted, my 16 days of inactivity are simply a jumpstart for my nation, along with the tech deals I am doing. Deal goes to the first person to send me the Foreign Aid in game.
  16. IGNORE THE SUB TOPIC OF THE THREAD: I need iron, marble, wheat, and RUBBER. Not lumber, sorry for the confusion I am an idiot. Aluminum: Jushioc of Barfbag Cattle:schmutte693 Coal: Jushioc of Barfbag Fish: DrPayne Iron: Lumber: dbuck2001 of New Idaho Marble gameoverclocker of kryzhome Oil: dbuck2001 of New Idaho Pigs: Schmutte693 Rubber: gameoverclocker of kryzhome Water:DrPayne Wheat: Total Income increase (happy + straight money) = 18 infra cost per unit: 65% (or -35%) Infra upkeep:79% (or-21%) Population boost: +26% Other: Water does 10% enviro boost and increases citizens per mile before enviro penalty by 50. Aluminum boosts total aircraft by 10. Those are the stats on this trade circle as measured by FEAR's calculator. I am getting pretty close to being done; I just need these last 2 trades. If you want in just respond in here or PM me in game. I will be buying a harbor in a matter of days so do not worry about my lack of one. Thanks in advance.
  17. I will agree that it seems the bad events are of a greater magnitude than the good ones. But my alliance, though small (mid sized, really), is running an event list and the percentages seem to stack up to what we have been told.
  18. Perhaps many of the events which people claim to be entirely bad are not. For instance, 2 out of the 3 events I have gotten involve bonuses for population, but take away happiness. One of the events I received was al bad (-3 happiness) but the other two were, more or less, a wash. Also, the age old fact that people are more likely to talk about a bad experience than a good one holds true here as well. Unless an alliance (or someone) is making a compendium of all Events they have access to knowledge of, we have no recourse but to take the Admin's word that the ratio is 52% good to 48% bad.
  19. Thanks a lot, this is great. However, I wonder if it would be possible to make a graph showing the total cost of all infra without modifiers, vs the amount of infra people have. For example, the x-axis would have levels from 1-5k infra, and the y-axis would be the total cost of all that infrastructure, without modifiers. I am sure it would be possible using the formulas for someone who has taken math more recently than I have, and it would be very useful to try to calculate start-off jumps for those who do them, as well as giving a general idea of how much it costs to get to each level.. If not, this is still an awesome guide, I just thought it might be worthwhile.
  20. I am pretty new, but it would make sense if it reset on the dates that your country's preferred rel/gov would have changed, if you did not have the Great Temple/Great Monument. At least that is a bug that I could see happening.....
