Ar Riyad SWAT discovered the hidden nuke inside a closet in an old and abandoned shack, just outside the city. When they attempted to disarm the bomb, it self-destructed, killing the 10 man team, but not before the nuclear warhead was disabled. They will be given a state funeral.

This is my nation.
War was declared just after reset on the 26th. I attacked seven times, expecting the battle to expire last night at reset on the evening of the 1st/2nd.
I see this morning that I still have an active war screen with this opponent, and I am still able to launch attacks. While this works out well for me, it doesn't seem fair. No matter how I do the math, this is day 8 of the war.

OOC: An ally for our purposes is anyone who's been friendly to ether of us. And yes you count. The fact you're the only nation we have an embassy with should be a dead giveaway of that.

The Black Hand, an old Slavorussian terrorist organization, has issued the following ultimatum to the Arab Gov't.
As you know, Slavorussia's Arabian colony has come under threat. We feel this is yet another example of a corrupt gov't threatening the wellbeing of the Slavic people. Therefor, we hereby demand that the Royal Family of the Slavorussian Empire surrender power to us and that the Arab Gov't support us in this move and move in their military forces to drive out the occupiers currently laying claim to our colony their. If ether side refuses to comply within 4 days, both the Slavorussian Empire and Arabland will know nuclear terror as both their capital cities burn in the fires of the stars.Grand Vizier Adiba Aalaa has stated that she was under the impression the Black Hand was dealt with. She awaits the Empire's decision so as to know what actions Arabland must take to prevent this attack. Ar Riyad SWAT has already been mobilized and is about to start sweeping the city.

Most peacekeeping operations don't take place in a strip of land between two militaries prepared to tear each other to shreds. In order to discourage attacks, we must be capable of responding to them.
Furthermore, if no bullets have been fired in Sahrania, then the houses we choose to search must not be in Sahrania either.
As a solution to the dissatisfaction some parties have with the process, I propose Slavorussia and Sahrania each send representatives to survey the actions of the peacekeeping force
Indeed, but both sides pulling back doesn't constitute 'prepared to tear each other to shreds' as you say. If anything, it implies the opposite.

Peacekeepers are building fortified artillery positions in the DMZ, and this is not a standard procedure in peacekeeping operations but rather preparatives of an offensive operation against us. The plan was to decrease the military deployments and resolve the standoff, but your actions force us to increase patrols along the borders. There aren't criminal organizations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai City, the crime rate is 1/800 and the GDP pro capita is almost $60.000. Your intelligence is capturing liars.
Not a single bullet has been shot in sahranian territory, and we will not let foreign troops search buildings in our territory.
We agree with our Sahranian allies. The DMZ is demilitarized. Ever since Slavorussian and Sahranian forces pulled back, weakening their military position in doing so, 'peacekeeping' forces have only increased in strength and number. For the sake of peace and stability, we ask that all peacekeeping forces limit their troop commitments to 50% of their current levels. We also ask that Rebel Army support us in this move as well as the Slavorussian Empire and Kingdom of Sahrani as a show of strength and unity.

Our ambassador has returned with a full, vary flattering, report. In addition to recent events, the Arab Gov't has agreed to grant you an embassy. We're looking for an embassy location now, but in the meantime, King Tomas Muhammad has sent word from the World Conference that you are to use the East Wing of the Royal Palace. He also sends word that he feels issues pertaining to Arabland have been dealt with and my be returning to Arabland in a day or so barring anything of interest coming up.

Our Industrial Lawyers have been tasked with drafting lease and partnership contracts. We'll tell you when they're finished and allow their Ishiopian counterparts to compare them to any relevant Ishiopian laws to make certain said contracts are mutually legal.
Once that's done, our Industrial Lawyers will work out the finer points and present them for your gov't's approval.

Ishiopia congratulates the efforts of both His Majesty Kind Tomas Muhammad and Grand Vizier Adiba Aalaa to modernize and democratize the political process of Arabland.
Several of Ishiopiaʻs private companies, syndicates and workers collectives are looking in to set up operations in Arabland, and one has asked us to negotiate a land lease for a large solar power plant. Two of our own state owned utilities are also interested in operating their own plants.
The Arab Gov't will allow this, but asks that a silicon mining/refining plant also be considered as Arabland has plenty of sand rich in the stuff and thinks it'll do good to utilize it.

As it stands now, the Grand Vizier and it's cabinet serve as the law making body with the monarch, Grand Vizier and newly formed Triumvirate making the executive decisions. The creation of an Arab Senate would allow Sectors A, B and C (strictly military zones as they stand now) to elect 2 senators each to debate and pass law, relegating the cabinet to an advisory status to the Grand Vizier as well as removing the Grand Vizier's non-execrative law making abilities.
Some question the efficiency of such a system and warn of the threat of divisive political parties, currently only an issue when the need for a new Grand Vizier arises, while others hail it as a democratic move forward.
This referendum will remain active for 3 days.

Word has come that King Tomas Muhammad has approved Prince Abu Muhammad for the position of Royal Triumvirate and Aban Abdul-Ghani for the position of Nomadic Triumvirate. He asked that additional names for the settled/semi-nomadic position be added before deciding on that position.
In addition to the Triumvirate decisions, the king has also called for a referendum on the subject of the Arab Senate.

We will pull back of 15 Miles, but our troops are still on high alert.

The Arab Gov't ask that the Sahranian military pull back in response to resent Slavorussian actions.

We've already stated our position. If the Slavorussian Empire better understands our position now, we'll send 100 troops from the Sector C Desert Corp as well as 10 medics from the Sector C Medical Corp and 2 doctors. If not, we'll allow use of our roads to move supplies, but all transports, no matter what flag they fly, will be subject to search by our customs officials.

This statement here bothers me. Slavorussia is not escalating this situation. It's my concern that Arabland has exhibited a prefabricated bias towards Slavorussia and would harm any chance for a peaceful solution. Therefore we recommend that Arabland not participate in any potential peacekeeping efforts.
We are sorry you feel this way. We consider the Slavorussian Empire an ally and have already stated our willingness to assist militarily any conflict involving your recognized territory. To dispel any misunderstandings, we'll move on Sahranian forces if they enter Slavorussian areas we recognize.
Our intent is to stop invasion by 1 side or another. Whoever strikes 1st will come under fire by Arab forces. If it seems we have a Sahranian bias, it's only because we see the Slavorussian Empire as a far more aggressive force at the moment.

Why the exception of submarines? One would think that if they qualify for the rest of the navy, submarines would be acceptable as well.

We ask that Arabland instead join our peacekeeping force, as peacekeepers (who are authorized to shoot down any attempted attack) not foreign intervention will stop this war not only from happening but the crisis from escalating into a regional war.
We have no intent to wage an aggressive war. We simply state our intentions in the event of war now so as to avoid later confusion and claims of aggression.
As to a peacekeeping force, Arabland is more then willing to join such a mission.

Royal Arab Army personnel petrolling the Arabland/Sahranian Border after deployment.
King Tomas Muhammad sent orders from his hotel room in the Welsh Empire ordering all Sector C Units to full alert. The Arab Gov't has also issued a statement that in the event of war, Arab forces would intervene and drive Slavorussian forces back to the Arabland recognized border.
The Arab Gov't reminds both sides that Arabland is willing to mediate negotiations and condemns the Sahranian Gov't for ending peace talks.

National Day entertains thousands Sahranians in Dubai City and Abu Dhabi, huge Sahranians flags marked the borders near Arabland and banners saying "New Sahrani is not Slovorussian" were shown on the top of the buildings.
The Kingdom of New Sahrani has many other things to be proud of, including its unparalleled economic growth, which has made the country a shining example in the Arabian Peninsula and the subject of admiration and analysis around the arab world.
Under the leadership of His Majesty King Joseph III of Sahrani, the Kingdom is destined to lead in other ways. Joseph III, King of Sahrani and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Sahranian Armed Forces, was quoted last week as saying a major declaration on political reforms will be announced by the Prime Minister within months.

Arabland continues to recognize non-Arab claims of the Slavorussian Empire and reaffirms it vow of military aid if said claims are threatened, however the Kingdom of New Sahrani has proven an ally of the Arab Gov't and indeed Arabland as a whole. Add to the fact that the Slavorussian Empire has no viable control beyond the northernmost regions of the nation/colony, we feel the Kingdom of New Sahrani has a stronger claim and as such, recognize the Kingdom of New Sahrani as an independent nation.
However, we are willing to continue recognizing areas still under Slavorussian control as under the governing authority of the Slavorussian Empire.

Seems they've reorganize. While our Intel traced them back to the Slavorussian Empire, the name on the ultimatum was Black Hand. Upon realizing what a name change may mean in addition to their interest in the Middle East, we started altering our search accordingly and we've discovered the organization is lead by a mix of the surviving members of the old Dark Hand's leadership and pro-Slavorussian Muslims living in Arabland.
