You truly are one of the more dense leaders I have ever seen... and I have seen some special ones.
You complain because people are still talking about you, yet you arrive right on cue every time, completely clueless about who is actually making the comment and just start blazin' away. I know it is difficult for you to comprehend but I personally am not going raid you, declare war on you or even urinate on you if you find yourself on fire. You are irrelevant to me now as you always were, nothing more than wasted pixels in a place where they abound.
What I am saying to you clearly, and to which you may or may not comprehend, is that your alliance has proved itself completely incompetent at both politics and at war. This does not place you in a particularly special category, however the fact that you are both incompetent and clueless coupled with the fact you are also limp neutral in conjunction with the fact you have massive amounts of tech and no way to defend it, at all, means that people so predisposed may view your massively fat nation as the juiciest target they have seen for many a year.
I doubt DBDC gives a rat's about your limp wristed response to them destroying your precious pixels, but rather they are paving the way for others of their mindset to follow, and follow they will. You can insert your head back where it came from before you decided to suicide over a loose collection of the disenfranchised leaving the world in their typical ADHD manner, or you can remove it from your fundamental orifice and learn from the experience.
The trouble is I think everyone else has learned far more about you than you have about them. A month of posting and you are still completely clueless about who I am for example and where I stand on raiding. It takes a special kind of ignorance to believe that your handful of nations, proven hopeless in all forms of the development of their nations and the defense thereof, could provide anything more than a mere speed bump to someone who desires what you have. However, since you operate in such ignorance as your gold standard, please do continue to believe you are brave and that your efforts have done something meritorious. If you want praise and adoration for your hysterical actions, ask your mother, she will tell you how clever you are, I am unlikely to be so kind.
Rooman is just like the bad alliance leaders from 2008 and before. If we wanted CN to be really entertaining again we would let a bunch of people like Rooman run it. It woudl be like League and Aegis vs Initiative all over again.

Uniting the neutrals in some kind of ODP bloc would not work as conventional treaties do. The sole purpose would be to defend neutrality, nothing else. I fail to see how that will compromise our neutrality.
But I appreciate your kind words, Cerrdiwyn, and I agree that you have the right to disagree with us. I do sincerely hope that an unprovoked war for no other reason than neutrality doesn't present itself on your doorstep as it did with TDO.
Cerrdiwyn is right. If you sign treaties (or for that matter if you declare an aggressive war) you're not neutral. Rooman is one of the most flat out annoying leaders in CN history, but I'll go ahead and give you some honest advice anyway. GOP should be dropping the pretense of neutrality and upgrading with VE to an MDoAP. The fact that they stood up for you as much as they did shows that they are worthy of your respect in this fashion, and as far as I and anyone else watching is concerned you are in no way a neutral alliance anyway. To be honest the protectorate treaty itself was a violation of neutrality. Neutrals don't sign treaties.
As far as Pax Corvus is concerned, there's no way I'd consider attacking them aggressively. Why? Because I see a number of quality members of other alliances there. If Han Fei Zei formerly of the Gremlins has decided to go sit in Pax Corvus, they must be alright. I see others I remember as well. TDO has never done anything in its history (despite having much better opportunities to than even GOP had here), and I didn't see a single redeeming member in TDO. Just a bunch of unknowns and zero casualty nations. And the grand punishment of Allarchon, to face 1 week's worth of war? Hahahaha. Most CN alliances that ever meant anything spent over 6 months at war in their history. TDO couldn't even build massively impressive nations like WTF or GPA with (almost) complete peace for 5 years (and for that matter, WTF has actually showed up and participated in live wargames before, I remember fighting a very excellent WTF fighter in 2011 in one of these).
If you're going to be neutral, import tech and build up big warchests. No one will ever attack you (unless you start attacking others or whatever). It shows you are competent, and everyone respects competence. If you want to not be neutral (like GOP) sign treaties. I for one am looking forward to a long overdue upgrade of GOP with VE. Hopefully Rooman posts less walls of text the next time he goes to war, no one wants to read that.

We entered to defend neutrality, as you noted. And, therefore, our own interests (see the 3+year old DTOM we referenced in the OP). And so your earlier statement that GOP "is the only alliance still pretending to have entered to defend TDO" is completely false, because we've never said we entered to defend TDO.
You seem to have a real problem reading words as they appear, and not as you'd like them to - that's true both of MQ's obvious, broad "jihad" on neutrality, and of our transparent reasoning for involvement.
You sure did a good job of "defending your interests".

I have to say, I don't see what the big deal is with this OP. It seems to be pretty standard, "We're an alliance, we're at war with you bu we're not at war with you," stuff.
Recruitment's been closed since the start of the war. They said I could ghost the AA to fight on their side.
So in other words you are a rogue without an alliance? I bet the GOON who asked you will be pleased to know this.

DBDC isn't a threat. You're outnumbered. Much like IRON easily wore down Gremlins, superior numbers will grind you down until you are nothing. Nobody cares to come to you to negotiate peace, because you aren't significant, despite your petulant whining. If you want to stop being rogues, you're free to seek out your peace for yourselves. It's not anyone else's job to do that for you.Projecting much? :)

We were raiding MQ. I was the first to attack any of them besides TDO defending themselves. I peaced out as a normal raider would. Soon after MQ members decided to nuke back rather than accept peace. Much like every other alliance out there would, we pursued full attacks against them. Our only attacks against anyone on the DBDC AA were those MQ members who ran to there while actively at war with us without reaching a peaceful settlement. DBDC issued some threats, now they're going to wreck a few of our big nations for a round who hide in hippie most wars anyway, we'll continue pursuit of those members we originally were warring with, everybody wins.
Does your alliance make a habit of pursuing indefinite wars of annihilation against raid targets, and arrogantly demand that the raid targets come beg for peace? Do I look like a bitch to you? I can promise you that I'm not, but I'm happy to make you mine until your alliance gathers up some smarts.

The response of the international community is intended to preserve global stability. If left unpunished, MQ would have left a terrible precedent behind in regards to attacking neutrals and weaker parties. The response from NATO and others was necessary and only occurred after several days of contemplation. The overwhelming response also checks any attempt by most MQ members to assimilate into any other alliances before losing significant amounts of infrastructure.
Thus, the response has had a very positive effect on the global situation.

Aside from the fact that (as Roadie pointed out), we were actually among the very first at this party, I don't know who's been threatening you with eternal war, but rest assured, if you want peace, you should come and talk with us, we would be more then receptive to have a conversation with you. And when I say that you should come and talk with us, I mean you yourself, and not whatever alliance you're attempting to cowardly hide behind this week. But we have no qualms what-so-ever about continuing this war as long as we need to in order to acheive the effect we desire, and really all we want if for you to say that you're sorry and make a few simple, mostly painless concessions.
We're not bad people, we just believe that actions have consequences. Based off the absolute confusion which you demonstrate, I guess perhaps that's a concept too advanced for you and your friends to understand.If you want peace, I suggest you stop attacking me. I will not pursue reparations or harsh terms against your alliance for your participation. You should be proud of the gold star you've earned. Mommy and Daddy will be really happy with you after they get back from the PTA meeting.

Not our problem that you choose to accept nuke rogues that are/were in war against TDO, Terran Empire, or Green Old Party. That kind of stuff caused wars in the past.
Also, I don't consider the DumbBird alliance as an alliance. You're just a band of rogues.
Excuse me, but Mushqaeda had a DOE, a DOW, and 50 members. That was not a rogue act, that was a highly coordinated and concerted war effort. What TPF and others are doing is attempting to hunt down former members of Mushqaeda without having articulated a clear motivation or rationale. I have personally been threatened with eternal war by TPF, although no reasons have been given. For that matter, TPF did not even state any reasons for attacking us in the first place. I think it makes them feel tough or something, lol. Wars in the game have become very uncommon, and Mushqaeda already had to be at war with several others alliances comprising many many times its NS for TPF to gather the courage to attack us, but gather it they did. It might be easy to pass judgement on TPF for being so cowardly, but we should really be celebrating TPF for showing up.

For all the talk, I'm afraid that I just don't buy this "we're a legitimate alliance" stuff. I notice Londo has a slot opening next update, I'll see if we can't take care of that.
