You took the words right out of my mouth. I generally stay off the OWF because of the childish banter that goes along with forums like these.
Kronos, I for one, hold no grudge. I didn't at any time and if I couldn't forgive someone for a momentary lapse in judgment, well, that would speak volumes about my character as well. You did a good thing here by stepping up. I do not need any aid myself but thank you for the offer of help and for being there as an ally and friend regardless of this issue. -

You should have reported that to Admin and had them deleted for crossing that line.
I am cordial with both of the guys I am at war with right now. They are as well and I'm pretty sure it's got a lot to do with the fact we realize that one, this is a game and two, matruity has a lot to do with how you are perceived in this game. It really is quite simple. If you can't distinguish between OOC and IC then you need to quit playing this game or any other RPG's for that matter. Yeah, it's really that simple. -
If you want to be part of a team that is willing to stand for its beliefs and not shy away or run as many do, then Valhalla is the place for you. You wil be treated fairly and with respect, but need to be willing to commit to her ideals and philosophies in return. If this is you, then come sign up. You will not regret it.

Mighty hypocritical, since you felt compelled to 'vouch' for the 'other guys' when a valid point was made as to why their opinion didn't matter, but whatever.
The mere fact that you say their opinion doesn't matter means squat to me as I place no value on yours either. There are archives all over this board and they obviously can read. Who decided the point was valid? Last I checked not one of you can tell me what to think and I think they are dead on right about what they said, so your opinion of me as a hypocrit is simply that, your opinion. I give it no more credence than, or any for that matter, than I do theirs.
The fact that you support ganging up on unsupported nations when an aggressor hits them with an advantage ( let's face it, nobody jumps without an advantage in a tech raid) makes your thread and your act pure cowardice. The issue is goons are trying to promote anarchy. The realism is that they will more than likely fail just like they did last time. THAT is history, and yes, I was there to see it.
Now, I'm done with this because I've said my peace and do not care what else is said. Post what you will, but understand, I won't bother reading anything else because I don't place any merit on thoughts of my "hypcritical" attitude from people who promote cowardice.

I think it's moderately fair to say that an unaligned nation who raids without the support of an alliance behind him is a degree less "gutless" than an alliance member who does. Not that I actually think tech raiding is gutless at all.
Gutless is still gutless no matter how you slice it. There are not degrees of gutlessness and cowardice. You either are or you're not. it's kinda like being pregnant, there is no in between.
My account was created January 9, 2007. I'll vouch for the other guys.
It's acts like the one that started this thread that are the reason why I usually tend to avoid the OWF and avoid creating more controversy. Some people here simply do not have anything even close to resembling a spine or backbone when they stand alone. That is the true measure of a man, not how many friends he can drum up when he bites off more than he can chew.

Not trying to start anything here but a memorial to someone quitting the game is rather idiotic to me. If he had died or something I could see a memorial to him in RL but because he lacked the ability to handle RL before the game he is praised? It sounds more like no self control to me on his part.

Just an observation here, but IS is far from a super power in this game. Might want to remember that especially since CG has stayed buried neck deep in chaos since it's inception.
Every time somebody farts in CG, you guys make an OWF declaration about it. The boy who cried "wolf" was less vocal about his predicament than you guys are.
