2.5-3) Team Jump A Hoe and The Bandwagon
This is another extremely annoying practice that typically involves #2 but not exclusively. As seen lately with that Rotavele person's death, Rotavele had made a comment that had nothing to do with half of the community. The half of the community that jumped on is an example of Bang-wagoners.
And that's why you can't grasp the backlash. While there is sense to much of what you're saying here, applying this (OOC: to yourself) here was a mistake.
It was something that transcends treaties. Namely, human decency. IN such circumstances, many people would have every reason to dislike such behaivour and act appropriately. -
I don't know what the stake of the Imperial Remnant is in this. All I know is that they're definitely hanging with the wrong kinda crowd. Not a good start for a new alliance, though I made similar mistakes during my early history.
When you look for allies of a lower size, it's easy to slip up. I have no opinion of you otherwise, so I'd very much like to see what's up.
As Rey said earlier, AE's involvement and Kashmir's are independent, though their coincidental assistance is appreciated. -
Re the new nation I stand corrected, not sure where I got that idea but obviously not.
Nonetheless Kashmir agreed to resolve that issue. You are either rogue, in which case I look forward to Kashmir either kicking you or reigning you in satisfactorily shortly, or admitting that the entire alliance is rogue.
From what I gather, it's implying that Kashmir nations have greater freedom over their actions than most alliances. Whether that makes them 'rogue' or not is a pretty emotive judgement to make. To them, you're probably the equivalent of an emo kid's parents. "You have no idea what I'm going through, you can't understand!"
Just a wild guess, you'll have to ask them about it directly (and probably more open-mindedly?). I had no idea of nor expected Kashmir involvement, helpful though it may be in resolving existing conflicts (in a roundabout way).
I remember making several long posts once about how the term 'rogue' is a relative & subjective term but I'm rather over those lately.

Having received a myriad of peace offers (in addition to the terms initially offered by us, and joint white peace sought previously), many of which seem to have a very short life-expectancy, I am finding it increasingly difficult to understand what is going on opposite.The latest offer has been for AE to withdraw by itself, while Kashmir and LPH continue to fight. I may have a personal distaste for such a move, but I'm not going to let that get in the way of others withdrawing, given their non-investment.
Thankyou for changing your mind (again?) on whether or not you're willing to negotiate with the Alternian Empire. While your offer was seemingly abandoned (again?) due to my not being around to receive it as swiftly as your schedule would like (I can understand that you're a busy man right now), It's something that can be explored further. Any AE nations that are offered white peace by nations under your AA are cleared to accept, if they wish. Once accepted, they wont engage again unless directly provoked. While Kashmir and AE may occupy the same battlefield, we are very different alliances in nature, so please don't let prior dealing with them cloud your judgement.
Feel free to contact me in private if you reject this, otherwise, this is how we'll be dealing with the matter. Until we get a magic cueball or something.

So, in other words, the desirable outcome is for all nations currently at war to end hostilities. Given mutual destruction may not be on your agenda (perhaps self-destruction is on mine), then I surmise that the ideal resolution is this;
Everyone peaces out.

Are you sure you want to do that, Methrage? You might be setting a bad example. Letting Rey off the hook when you swore to ZI him could be a dangerous precedent.
The war will end when everyone is happy about it. Just don't waste MY time negotiating and seeking out consensus either by being flippant about it. You can't complain about being disrespected if you're disrespecting the people you accuse of disrespecting you, after all.

I just gave them a way out, I said they didn't need to join Limitless Nexus. You aren't doing anything to improve their situation and I don't care if they stay. If they choose to stand by your attack on Limitless Nexus, then they should be prepared for the war which follows. Seems you just volunteered Lord English for extra attention when it comes to attacks.
Actually, we're all discussing it on skype right now, which is far more efficient than IRC.

Yeah, we both know this isn't the case. While ooc-ic mixups are something I actually do care about and wouldn't encourage ooc attacks even if the person doing so instigated it themselves, you can only screw up so many times before people become frustrated enough to engage in such.Yes, you enjoy irritating people. Yes, that is also a very good way to get yourself in a lot of trouble.

I probably shouldn't of agreed to the first proposal for peace by LPH without modification, which was the war ends when Rey is ZIed. I guess they seemed a little to happy when I agreed. Although I'm willing to change the peace proposal to it ending when current wars expire, this war can be treated the same in that regard.
If this is a step on the road towards both parties moving forward, then I applaud it.
I can't speak for Kashmir's vested interest in stonewall, but I believe we could settle this right now, if you really wanted. In either case, I think that it would be appreciated by everyone if this resulted is a cessation of posting on any such matters.

In other words, Rey is encouraging your obsession with LPH. Your proclivity to obsession is your weakness. You displayed it in your dealings with GOONS, with Tywinn, It's the reason you make all of these 'Alliance Announcements' for an alliance of only three people. I had no illusions over how painful this was was going to be - neither for myself nor fellow alliance members. By contrast, your illusion is that fighting onwards will do you any good.
AE can rebuild. We have a number of dear friends which we can count upon to stand by us once this war is over. In fact, they're standing by us right now. The question is whether you will spend the rest of your CN existence a friendless and dignity-free husk, or not.
You are trying far too hard. AE strongly encourages you to sit back for a while, grab yourself a can of the Wicked Elixir and appreciate some miracles. Really. It'll do you some good. No, I'm not even kidding.
Faygo is serious business.

'Sup everyone. Now, I'm sure you're wondering what this announcement is about. (Haha, no you don't you probably don't give two shits).
It's about people that make too many announcements.
There are some people in this realm that appreciate recognition. There are others that go out of their way to seek it.There are others still that pretend to be a prestigious alliance by making mundane shitposts about pretty much everything that happens to them.
I get on well with Rey, and the attacks against an ex-member. but they weren't our prime motivation (sorry!). It's a combination of boredom and mounting irritation with bad posting.I figured that after complaining about others not 'doing something' when they had the chance, that I should do at least one thing to reduce the tide of refuse here. I man look at the place, it's a fucking mess.
Now, if you don't mind.... we'll get this conflict over and done with, coerce methrage into drinking faygo, then get back to doing nothing and chatting away on skype.
P.S. These are the terms offered to Methrage. They are also available for any of those

I recall being in talks with member/s of NSF vis a vis TCB on some rather interesting stuff. Unfortunately the person assigned to discuss it with us was a blabbering imbecile that failed reading comprehension (and deleted their nation, apparently), which didn't reflect on them too well. I think both Pollard and myself will savour the irony of NSF doing something even more radical than what we were onto at the time, heh.
There were some good folk there though.

You do realise that Los Pollos Hermanos is part of the Men's Recovery Project? As such, Riot Society, SLCB or any other members are perfectly entitled to engage you when and if they wish. If TIR wants to come in on an optional treaty it fails to advertise on its wiki, it's perfectly logical to expect others to follow suit. The problem is, you'll run out of allies faster than those you're engaged with.
You've been on this trajectory before, you know where it ends and your remaining friends won't benefit from following you down that path. Think very hard before you encourage further escalation, or insult those doing the most to avoid it.
