If you want an alliance with freedom, you should create a small alliance yourself. Join a large one to build up your strength, then request that alliance to protect your new alliance tht you can create. Once your alliance is big enough, it can become independant.

Number 3 actually seems like a very interesting thing. I'd quite like another 3rd great war without the DDOSing and hacking. I wasn't here for any of the great wars, so being able to experiance one would be great. None the less, I'd probably ride it out on peace mode. Whilst peace mode cna be bad for your economy it can only impact a certain amount.

Still desperate. Come on, one of you MUST have the money! I'm growing tired of the game already, even though it is meant to be long-term, there is no fun in waiting 24 hours just to tax people and get enough money to fix whatever is going on that the people dislike!
