Although rare, this is possible if you accept large sums of money via foreign aid or through looting in war. It doesn't affect gameplay to have a negative number in your expenses in any way.

On top of his aid and donations he's been raiding inactives. I've been working on a fix for inactive raids for some time and the update today should stop these types of cheap gains. See the game update log regarding inactives.

If you look up at the top of the screen it will say in yellow text 'Transaction Successful'. The red text telling you that you cannot dismiss means that you cannot dismiss again.

Make sure you aren't looking at a cache of your nation because according to the game archives your tax collection went through just fine. If you need specific numbers for before and after your tax collection feel free to send me a PM.

DEFCON would be noticeable in a nation while threat level is kinda behind the scenes.
This is kind of the idea. When the threat level was indicated publicly users who suspected who might have attacked them in a spy attack could view that nation, see that their threat level was set to high, and conclude from there. It also makes spy operations more of a chance.

This does sound like a routing problem somewhere. (outside of my control) If you are accessing the game from http://cybernations.net try http://www.cybernations.net (or vice-versa) and compare the difference if there is any.

Only one copy of messages is stored in the game. Once the recipient deletes the message it is gone.

This provided by another user with similar problems: If you are having a problem with getting a validation email you can log into your forum account with the name and password you registered with (despite not having validated it) and change your email to a web-based email (such as Hotmail), then resend the validation and completing that, you can then start posting.

You last paid your bills on 10/30/2007. At that time your total government bills were $10,418,686.51 (according to an archive) and today your total governmnet bills remain at $10,418,686.51 which means if you tried to pay your bills since 10/30/2007 the transaction never went through. Your browser may have a weird caching issue happening. Try clearing everything to see if that helps.

If Admin's only rationale here is that reducing technology bonuses leads to lower bills (by the infra / NS ratio) then the correct course of action IMO is to alter the bill formula.

I am sooo freaking pissed off about this update. I'm a tech heavy nation, my nation strength that was artificlaly inflated is now more realistic and my bills have also been reduced because I'm now closer to the 10% threshold for infras upkeep reduction. Oh holy god I'm pissed.

You have to initiate the trade in secret before you are sanctioned in order to prevent the trade from getting cancled when you are sanctioned. Once you are sanctioned you lose the ability to trade on the sanctioning team, secret or not.
