[b]Article III[/b] The German Democratic Republic will be allowed to lease a single naval base in the Athenian Federation, at all times an Athenian establishment will be present and Athenian laws will remain in effect. Upon cancellation of this pact the lease will end too. [b]Article IV[/b] While not mandatory this treaty provides both signatories the right to defend each other should they come under an unprovoked attack. [b]Article V[/b] This pact can be canceled by giving the other party 72 hours notice.
