The Shinjikēto was everywhere upon the continent, and their ability to blend in and thrive among the lower classes allowed them near unfettered access to those who did not wish to be ruled by Khan incarnate. Through funding in Amur cash they managed to be successful in turning a larger percentage of the population against the Uriankhai, daily protests would begin within Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Nakhodka, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur, demanding another elect and that their voices be heard. The separatist leaders would inform their occupiers the funding came from those who were ignored by Uriankhai, and prying would not achieve successful answers from them. Of course, there was no method of tracing the funds back to the EAI, the Shinjikēto working as a middleman ensured this. 

 

Of course, not everything went according to plan, and efforts in Blagoveshchensk and Birobidzhan failed miserably, with Shinjikēto members quite simply ignoring their task and instead overdosing on narcotics. In the east the groups completely ended any sales of drugs, not needing the unwanted attention.

Any further RP from this point in order to prepare for the Asian war will be considered "on-hold" for purposes of interaction with Druk Yul. The global war needs to catch up with Asia. There is a several week gap in time which could have an impact on the out come of any possible conflict.

The Tianxia East China Sea fleet moved into position towards the North of the Sea as the entire nation went on high alert with the sudden thrusts down into Japan.  The aim of the operation was focused on protecting the Ryukyu's from a further expansionism of the Uriankhai.  While the Yuan was a mongol horde itself, the less than friendly disposition and opaque goals of the Uriankhai had provoked a deep suspicion as rapid reaction forces were quickly routed to the Northern border of the Empire.  The goal would be to forestall and if necessary, use limited action to prevent a complete overrun in the North.  

 

At the same time U-2s and Global Hawks coupled with satellite ISR capabilities provided images deep into Japan of what was happening.

 

Behind that advance, Tianxia marines would be sent in to the Ryukyus to reoccupy he historic province of the Empire, and provide support agains he forces as they advanced as far south as Kyushu.  Key elements of the operation would include reoccupying Okinawa air field and securing it from Raptor operations.

 

At the same time a olive branch of diplomacy would be sent to the Uriankhai.  It was in the form of a letter, written in both Mongol the language of both people, and in classical Chinese, the lingua franca of the Eastern World, by the brush of the Emperor himself.

Uriankhai's satellite constellation turned all eyes upon the newborn nation of Tianxia and its movements. Synthetic aperture radar mapped out the geography of the border between Tianxia and Uriankhai, examining all possible tactical vulnerabilities and advantages to be gleaned; electro-optical MASINT sensors maintained a constant vigil for any sign of rocket or missile launches. Satellites zeroed in on potential military and political facilities of interest in Tianxia, marking their coordinates for possibly future use; all the while, UAVs and AWACS aircraft were, as Uriankhai policy dictated, continuing consistent patrols along the borders of the nation to guarantee no foreign threat could take Uriankhai by surprise.

 

Elsewhere, Uriankhai's anti-missile defence system was kicked into alert, as was its actual missile system itself, and the navy already at sea doing patrols was informed of a potential hostile situation given Tianxia's aggressive military actions. Much of the military, already on alert for war with Japan, was stationed near Tianxia to begin with, and they were well accustomed to tense military situations such as these.

Action in defense of the way is never aggression.  We understand your suspicions and even antipathy, especially in light of the fascist behavior of the EAI, but we are not they.  We are of the same blood.  Mongol, Han, even Japanese, we are never truly not kin.  When my ancestor Temujin united the steppe, and first brought all clans together, he did not do so to create an Empire to destroy the world, but to protect it.  Our common ancestors yes at times burned a path of destruction from Persia to China to Baghdad, but this was another time, and even at the height of the terribleness it was never an end.  

 

We are both People of the Steppe.  Our Empire sought to improve the rights of women, bring order to where there is chaos, and absorb and respect the culture of others, remembering China under Kublai, remembering the Golden Horde, remembering the trade of the Silk Road.  When the Great Khan asked Japan for fealty, he said that all nations are one family?  Who are you if you say you are of the Steppe to deny the truth of the wisdom of the ancestors and the Way.  We do not seek a war between brothers, but we will not see you destroy the ways of the Steppe by committing a crime agains those who no longer fight and whom are of your family and of your blood.  Our Horde does not fear battle, but we have seen enough fratercide.

Upon the shift in movements (OOC: I'm assuming these are LEO sats) of the imagery, elint, and radint, satellite assets to cover the border between Tianxia and Uriankhai, Tianxia began its own counter measures.  Chief among these included corresponding with both military and the open source literature to employ dazzling and uplink jamming over Tianxia and the littoral regions to obstruct and ofuscate ISR activities.  In building a picture.  Concurrently Tianxia employed EC-130Js to disrupt communications between units patrolling the border, while ground based EW assets always moving created clutter disrupting the use of synthetic aperture radars for employment against Tianxia's units, which were ordered on constant movement along the border.  F-22s would be used to silently patrol the borders, while F-15 K full upgrades, would be deployed slightly inwards.  Advanced Growlers and Hornets were kept ready slightly further back, most standard configuration being quartet of JASSM-ERs with a stealthy weapons pod with four AMRAAMs, to surge in and defend air space, save for those on fleet duty with the SLAM-ERs instead of the JASSM-ER.  The bomber force meanwhile was deployed on rotating deterrence patrol from 1000 kilometers with the bomber force on the ground dispersed through Southern China.  

 

Stealthy cruise missiles invisible the early warning masint sensors, were moved into position, both for air launch and ground launch deep within Tianxia, while Tianxia's global hawks and awacs moved to patrol the border as well.  E-8 JSTARS would also provide GTMI capability as Tianxia forces reinforced the rough terrain which separated the two nations.  

 

Behind the lines the deployment of tactical range Iskander-Ms, and longer range conventional DF-21-A-D class missiles were also put on alert.  Radar systems began both mapping ground and sea based targets as P-8s patrolled the waters to block the movement of submarines into the East China Sea itself.  At the same time a second naval group swung around to threaten the Japanese Coast.  All fleets began hiding EM emissions as they moved in irregular patterns to make detection by satellite difficult.  Type 22 and Yono Class boats were put into the Yellow Sea on manuvers.  A2AD units were transferred into the Ryukyus.

 

Concurrently Tianxia publically would announce a space launch from Hainan for scientific purposes and emphasized the peaceful use of outerspace in the conflict testing a new constellation of weather satellites that would provide greater warnings for Typhoons, as well as have sensors to prevent Tsunamis in the area.  At the same time a secondary secret payload would place stealth spy satellites into orbit for tracking in the event of a attack on the Tianxia satellite network.

Formal demarches were also prepared for the Novak and Parthian Governments in hopes that political pressure could restrain the march of the Uriankhai.

I come to you as a friend and as a man of peace, but also as a man of virtue.  It is the understanding of our government that you are friends of the Uriankhai, and in ages past in the old Empire and the old Novak, friends of ours.  It is through this that we ask you to join us as a friend of peace and harmony in Asia to give wise counsel to your friends in Uriankhai.  

 

The March of the Uriankhai in Japan is not how one great civilization acts towards another.  Magnanimity in victory must surely exist if one is to fight for a better world.  We know the ways of the Japanese Empress were destructive, no nation has spilled more blood fighting the incarnations of Japanese fascism then us.  Yet we know the burden this time fell upon you.  We know that China once again tragically fell under the evil cult.  We know that it allied with Japan.  This is a wound on all of Asia.  But destroying that which is ancient, burning Osaka Palace and ransacking towns, a true gem, and something that predates the regime, what point does that serve but a wound of hatred in the hearts of the Japanese people, will only renew a cycle.

 

We implore upon you to do as we have an urge the Uriankhai back, less they become like the Japanese and Cultists whom they rightfully mistrusted, not for just the sakes of the Japanese but their own li.

 

Attached you'll find U-2 and Global Hawk imagery.  It is my hope we can show the world the harmony Asia is known for before we breed disaster.
