As such an even larger revamping of the ATCOM and NSCCOM military sectors will be revamped with a system of tunnels like that of the Fayetteville system. The system will take years to finish and will begin with large military installations leading to the nearest civilian center. These tunnels will consist of supply points, caches, small housing rooms barracks, and choke points with 50 caliber back up. The system would be a maze to any traveler not trained on the inner workings. Entrances would be hidden by buildings and fronts such as small shops and things of the like. This project is expected to be done in about 2 years but functional in about 1. The tunnels would be small and only be able to fit about one person so entering would need to be single file. Exits would be hidden as well to make it easy for the troops to leave and not the enemy. Certain doors would lead out and certain doors would lead in. West Virginia has been changed to Northern UCNA and the Republic of the United Carolinas has been changed to Southern UCNA. State names will not change. [b]Recent military construction (private):[/b] - The tunnel system in the southern UCNA (Carolinas) has been extended to the Northern UCNA (West Virginia region) with the same orders. - The damages Satellite depots are being repaired and the repairing of the mass driver has been started. Launch capability is estimated to be achieved by the end of the month. As this program was being set back up the UCNA Space Program and Milcom have begun a project on a battle network across the entire military that will be built into all satellites currently under construction. The network will combine all military aspects, air, sea, space, and ground. This network will have numerous firewalls and the centers will be located in separate areas so hacking in would take a long feat. Computers have been installed into tanks, ships, air craft, and the current UCNA Space Cluster, and finally a battle suit in development. The network would make the UCNA military high rate of communication and networking throughout the world. The network wouldn't give away sensitive information over the waves and locations would be given in a code only on a need to know basis. The network and installation is expected to be finished around the time the new satellites are able to be launched. This project and network has been named Skynet 2.0 but the satellite is the Skynet 5 the specifications of either will not be released. The system will not completely replace crrent communication systems, instead it will add. - The UCNA military has begun zoning for the construction of new military bases in the Northern and Southern UCNA. - 14,664 recruits from South UCNA have been recruited. The satellites which were damaged months ago in the war were set up for launch prep, all systems were go for Sky Net 2.0 launch. Space command reported clear skies for launch. As soon as the satellites reached into space they were put into service testing and the Sky Net Military Command Network (SNMCN) was born. The suits were still in development stages but a show platoon marched in a public area in the Charleston Military Reaction Base and in a militay city in West Virginia to show off the new uniform which was expected to begin service in mere months. The specifications of the suits were not given, only the fact that they looked different. In hidden military bases the actual network and suit was testing to begin service. Quebec was technically still not a part of the NADU, hence there was no official relationships between the two countries unlike that with Greenland. Still, the defense of UCNA was connected to the security of Quebec, and as such the request was granted, free of cost. The reason for the satellites being sent without payment is related to Quebec's own interests. The country was in the process of establishing a new system of satellites in space, and needed to do some testing to see if the most recently developed technology were up to the task. UCNA was to be the guinea pig for this, so that Quebec may still be in the shadows in terms of its capacities. The satellites sent were comprised of a mixture of visible and IR imagers, radar imagers, and broadband imagers. The use of these satellites by UCNA should show just how advanced Quebec's capabilites are, for it aimed to challenge the current space hegemony held by the immoral hypocrites. The total after the final launches including UCNA made satellites would be about 70. A small number maybe but an efficient system non the less, more were planned to be added in the future. Now the system was complete, a great week for the space program. Explosive charges were added to the satellites in case they were damaged or moved in the wrong way or an attempt was made to recover them. Troops marched in a sectioned off region in Charlotte for civilians to awe at the new uniforms not knowing that under the suits was the real improvement. As of now I am interested in opening trade between several different countries and the Kingdom of Ireland to better my people's economy and those on the other side of the deal. The Confederacy is one of those few nations who are on my list to talk business with at this time and seeing as the UCNA has a lot of food exports, I think it would be valuable for the two of us to trade.
