Announcement from Monaco - Valencia
A few months earlier a plebiscite held in the protectorate regions of Monaco was conducted to see if any of those provinces wished to form a union with Monaco. The provinces of Basque Country, Navarra, Murcia and Valencia supported the movement towards this union while Catalonia and Aragon wanted independence. As independence was granted to these provinces the government of Monaco set up machineries to make the merge with the former lands of Valencia as successful as possible.

Caroline, Princess of Hanover was to become the Queen of Valencia while Ecco Suarez the former President was reelected as Lord of Valencia for a five year term. With this we are proud to announce the formation of Monaco - Valencia.

To accommodate these changes the government at the national level has been changed. A ruling council of five members have been formed which shall consist of

-His Serene Highness the Prince of Monaco
-Her Royal Highness the Queen of Valencia
-Lord of Valencia
-Minister of State of Monaco
-Steward of New Monaco

Monaco and Valencia in turn have a separate state level government consisting of the national council in Monaco and the Parliament of Valencia which shall handle the daily affairs of these states. The idea of this union has so far been successful the last few months during the test phase and now with the support of Parliament of Valencia and the National Council of Monaco we have decided to announce the formation of this state. All the current treaties of Monaco will carry over. Monaco - Valencia reaffirms its support to the MEMU. The capital of Valencia shall be the city of Valencia while the capital of Monaco has been reverted to Marseilles while Monaco is being rebuilt. The French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur which was a part of the Kingdom of Ireland protectorate have voted to join our country. This new province shall come under the jurisdiction of the Prince of Monaco and as such the constitution of Monaco is being amended to make room for the various changes with the addition of this new province.
