Hi, I've recently joined the 21st century and picked up a smart phone. The phone allows me full web access and before I do something stupid, I was wondering if I'm allowed to play through my phone. I'm assuming there are lots of people on the Verizon network who play, but I'm not sure how the IP system works through the phones.

I couldn't find an app, so any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There aren't any CN Specific apps. It will run on any internet browser that can do text and graphics. The graphs are flash so if your browser doesn't do flash (mine doesn't) you won't be able to see them (but this only effects the alliance growth graph and the nation development ones).

As for IPs, there are a lot of IPs and a lot of smart phones in a lot of space so you should be fine. The only way you'll ever really have an issue is meet anyone that plays CN on a Verizon Network phone in the same general area and decide to trade/aid/war each other. Otherwise, you should be fine.

You can also post to these forums as well. They look a bit smushed but otherwise okay.

Welcome to the world of the smart phone.

Thanks. That "should be fine" part still worries me though.

I've logged in using my phone in about 20 different US cities since I got it and I'm still here. I've also logged in using my computer in 15 US states and 2 countries.

I don't think anyone's going to give you a definite answer on whether you'll be safe or not. My advice is to not knowingly break the rules and go from there.
