Centurius
Mainland Europe had become a good continent since the Franco-German war, nations had risen in Iberia, the North was working as one, the same could be said for the South. While this all was great Athens had always maintained one issue, it was allied to France but had no way to truly access the French border, in addition intelligence reports had suggested the Italians and Germans weren't friends which could form an issue longterm. Therefore a message was send to Berlin, of course written by hand and delivered by the Ambassador himself to guarantee safe and secure arrival.
To the Germanic Union, In line with recent events and the constantly changing landscape of the European continent I would like to invite a representative of your government to Athens to discuss some matters of great importance. Yours sincerely, Nikita Akhatova.
Kaiser Martens
Von Glücksburg realized what they might be up to and decided to pause the construction of fortifications at the Italian border, which, anyway, had only just begun in any case. Then she flies to Athens to determine whether if she was right or not. It she is, it will probably save time and money. Those Sicilians had a way of meddling in foreign business and it would be best to keep them away. "A pleasure to see you again, Empress." Last time that they had met, von Glücksburg was the minister of FA of VDL, now she was one of the Triums of the Germanic Union.
