IC: According to the Greater Pacifican Intelligence services governmental control in Micronesia has deteriorated. Our Ministry of state corroborates this account, stating that they have had no contact or response from the Government in several weeks. Highly experienced in provisional administration operations given the excessive history of governmental collapse in Oceania and Pacifica in general, Pacifican officials implemented a simple template based sectoring of the territory (each island was a sector), and then sub districted each city and sizable settlement establishing one assistance center to each district. Paratroopers served as immediate peace keepers, while members of the Pacifican Administrative Corp, a sub office of the Ministry of the Interior which specialized in territorial re-organization and transitional administration, coordinated with former local police forces that had been unable to operate due to a lack of resources. Despite the technical state of Anarchy, society had remained rather calm, the population generally just tried to go about their lives while various political factions fought amongst themselves within the capital. This enabled the easy resumption of administration once the radical forces, and paramilitary organizations were either peacefully dissolved or otherwise detained and removed by force. After a week of operations an announcement was made from the former Capital of Micronesia by the Pacifican Provisional Administrator that the political situation had been stabilized, and that economic activity was set to resume within the Month. iamthey Posted June 30, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) *Internal* The provisional administration conducted a sale today which organized as best as it could the former owners of particular critical resource extraction firms, manufacturing installations, as well as the local credit networks within the territory of Micronesia. Ownership of the various private enterprises within each sector was securitized ans sold to the corresponding industrial conglomerates which dominated the various 'core' sectors of the Pacifican economy. Previous owners were assessed and those that were qualified were offered positions as general managers of the operations that they sold.
