(DENN) - In Dragonisia, private Industries were put on notice that their factories were about to be seized to ramp up in preparations for possible hostilities. The factories would also be improved and would be better when returned to private industry. As part of this program treasury access to many social programs has been reduced. This has caused some dismay throughout the country which is upset at the sudden lack of some freebie services provided by the government of Dragonisia. However, most citizens are coping with the fact that, when dealing with the national defense, sometimes sacrifices MUST be made.

Patriotism volunteer programs have also been started around the country to put out of work laborers into productive careers. The current goal is to expand and amplify existing infrastructure for higher grades of efficiency should additional weapons be needed. Unfortunately, this heightened emphasis on building is expected to cause temporary stagflation in GDP growth as the equipment is being retooled.
