comrade nikonov
***CLASSIFIED*** With the Dragon Empire in full effect, the Northeast People's Republic had to do something with all those political dissenters collecting dust in its prisons. As such, the NPR has worked out a deal to extradite its dissenters to Curristan, with the weird provision of having them towed there on rickety old rafts. Although the NPR is baffled by this request, it beats releasing those dissenters back into society. ***TO CURRISTAN*** A merchant ship towing 2 rickety rafts full of dissenters have left port in Tianjin for Curristan. Expect arrival soon. Those poor refugees.

comrade nikonov
***FAST FORWARD*** "Well we're here. Might as well drop the 'cargo' and go home." "Yeah Fred. I think I might have filled up the TiVo with 'Desperate Housewives' reruns." "You watch that show?" chuckles "DON'T JUDGE ME!" -Meanwhile, Dissenter 1: "FOOD!" Dissenter 2: "WATER!" Dissenter 1: "HELP US!" "Meh, you'll get help soon enough. You're not our problems anymore."
VigilantWatcher
Two tugs came along and began pulling the rafts towards the shore. After around 10 minutes, the tugs began moving south. Then instead of heading towards the nearby beaches where they could get off, they began to move along the coast. After a few minutes, they halted. "Erm i am sorry, we need to get another tug. This one has broken down." The only supposed working tug detached from its raft and helped the other tug towards a nearby port, leaving the two rafts at the mercy of the tides. comrade nikonov
The replacement tugs did not come, and the rafts started to ride the currents toward Curristan's shores.
VigilantWatcher
*Out at Sea* The first sign that something wasn't right was when they began passing the coastal defences. Activity could be seen as the raft rode the waves. Suddenly a burst of machine gun fire cut through the first craft killing one of the dissidents. A roar filled the air followed by a gigantic splash. *In a observation deck in the Coastal Defences* Unidentfied Officer: "Correct that trajectory by about 10 degrees and fire 1 more round at same bearing. Unidentified NCO: "Yes Sir". *Out at Sea* A second roar filled the air followed a loud bang as the second raft recieved a direct hit, sending debris and the dissidents everywhere. "We are going to die!!" shouted one dissident, before being hit by several bullets and falling into the water. Two dissidents clung to the remains of the second raft screaming for their lives. Several more bullets hit the water nearby as they struggled in the water. In the first raft, 8 dissidents cowered as the pillboxes poured round after round into the water around them. Unfortunately for them, they were moving towards the beach, where machine guns were trained and waiting for them. The second raft suddenly disappeared as a shell landed nearby, sending water up into the air. As the water subsided, the raft and the two dissidents clinging onto it was no longer in sight. A single shot echoed through the air and one dissident fell backwards into the water. Panicked, they began using debris to paddle themselves towards the shore. As the first raft hit the beach, machine guns trained on the beach opened up killing one of them. The remaining 7 began trying to get the raft back out to sea. They managed after several minutes to get a few metres out to sea before their luck ran out. A 15 Inch shell struck the boat killing them all and throwing them into the wind. *In a observation deck in the Coastal Defences* Unidentified Officer: "Please inform the Curristan Military High Command that 'Operation Ducks In A Barrel' was a success." Unidentified NCO: "Yes Sir". Edited June 14, 2009 by Curristan
comrade nikonov
The NPR denies any knowledge of Curristan extradition treatment, but inquires if Curristan desires more dissents.
VigilantWatcher
We would like to take on more dissidents if the NPR wishes us to.
