Aircraft - There are 18 different aircraft in the game consisting of fighters and bombers (9 of each type). When launched on bombing runs bomber aircraft have the ability to destroy up to 20 infrastructure, 20 tanks, and up to 5 cruise missiles per bombing run. Fighter aircraft help defend your bombers during bombing runs and can also be launched without bomber aircraft for dog fights with enemy fighters. Fighter aircraft are your only line of defense against enemy bombers and fighters. Fighter aircraft cannot destroy enemy infrastructure, tanks, or cruise missiles. Each aircraft type has a aircraft strength rating from 1 to 9. The more advanced (and more expensive) aircraft have the highest strength ratings and can therefore inflict more damage on your opponent. To determine how much an aircraft will affect your nation strength level multiply the aircraft strength x 5. For costs and analysis of all aircraft in the game view your Aircraft Purchase screen.

I have an example contridicting that, the example is from TE, in TE it also says up to 20 infra can be destroyed, here it is:

(That is from my sent messages, so i did the damage) This contradicts all that ^^^^

I'm pretty sure that infra, and possibly tech and land damage as well follows by this formula:

base * (1 + (tech level / 10000))

So you're tech level, according to your battle report, was ~140 at the time?

I think that the bases are 20 for infra, 2 for tech and 20 for land.

There may also be a randomiser effect, I'm not entirely sure.

It also explains why your max damage may go up after tech raiding.

Technology increases damages caused in ground battles, cruise missile attacks, nuclear missile attacks, navy attacking and defending naval attacks, and aircraft bombing attacks by 0.01% per level of technology. If an attacking nation with 3,000 technology causes a defender to lose 20 infrastructure in a ground battle then based on this 'techbonus' the defender would lose a total of 26 infrastructure in the attack. (20 + (20 * (3000 * .01%)))

How does this formula account for higher levels of aircraft? i.e. if you get level 9 bombers through, what would the difference be?

Edit: do tech levels only work to the AC level i.e. if you have 200 tech and level 3 bombers it will act like you have 150 tech, which would be updated as they get stronger, and auto update once you have nines?

if yoyu have 1000 tech and enough bombers to do 20 damage, you do an extra 1 damage.

The lvl of bomber does not affect the damage cap, merely the number of planes needed to reach it

PS I have a suspician your signiture is too large, I would advise changing it
