Generosa nodded. "So be it then. However, we will need to take more ova. I hope you understand.

Now, Emperor, I guess Dr. Velver already told you what we'll do with you. We'll take sperm samples from your gonads, even if you have a very low count, we don't want some kind of clon, after all. Once we have both sperm and eggs, you will be brought into your rooms, and we'll do our job with making the baby. It'll take a while - just as long as with a normal woman - but there's plenty of things to do, and as you are not really patients, but only donators, you're allowed to leave the hospital and do, whatever you want here in Ferinh, as long as you don't break laws or anything. You can also buy books, and we have some game consoles for younger patients. There's a lot of things to do even within the hospital, though I do recommend visiting the Nakheel Tower at least once.

Anyways, once the nine months are over and the child is safe, it'll stay for another six months, to ensure that it grows up well. After that, we'll determine if the kid will have to stay longer or if you can take it home, Emperor.

Do you agree with this schedule?"

"The schedule is perfectly fine. I find no problems with it. Shall we get on with it?"

Velver and Generosa nodded. Minutes later, Keehyuk and Luna would be escorted into their rooms.

[OOC: And timeskip~]

In the first month, preparations were done, taking the reproductive cells from the two volunteers and preparing these cells. In the second month, several eggs would be fertilized artificially and the Canadian doctors got to their work, changing and manipulating the cells to achieve the required results. All in all, more than 30 artificial wombs would be used, each with its "own" foetus inside.

During the next months, the strongest of these would survive, the weaker or those with diseases being aborted to prevent them from having to live a short life in pain. After the seventh month, Leclerc announced his retirement, though the new leader - Merkel - did not stop the project, feeling for the Emperor and his inability to get children on his own.

Once a month, Keehyuk and Luna would receive a short briefing about how the development of the project, though they would only be told about the development of one of the foetuses - the strongest one, which had the most chances to survive.

The Emperor was enjoying his nice vacation. The committees flew representatives in once or twice a week to update him and he had a good deal of video conferences with his ministers and whatnot. There was much to be done and even more to come. When the doctors told him that success was, more or less, near, he was thrilled. It would be a nice something to his busy life.

And finally, finally the girl was born, completely healthy and, miraculously, without complications.

After the usual procedures after birth - which, in Canada, could take up to a week, depending on the exact circumstances - the girl was brought to her parents.

A nurse carried her into the room, while Generosa was already within the room, having told the two about the child. The nurse smiles at the Emperor and Luna, giving the little girl to its parents, standing in the background afterwards.

While watching the quite heartwarming scene, Generosa took a picture out.

"We've had an artist make a depiction of how she'll look in about a decade. We're quite positive that this will be what she looks like."

He held a picture up.

"I hope our work is to your liking, Emperor."

Emperor Kim beamed. "This is just magnificent. I could not have asked for more. Thank you very much doctor."

He then turned to play with his child and hugged Luna. The Empire would probably know within a few hours. But that was quite alright.
