Silhouette
*Classified* With the release of Vanuatu to Aotearoa, Nendo island was to undergo a serious revamp. A battalion of engineers was already hard at work, drilling storage bunkers into the northern face of the mountain. As soon as supplies arrived, a series of 5" naval guns would be place on the hill side, along with anti aircraft units, of both the missile and flak variety. 20 or so of them were busy felling trees, to extend and improve the runway. The project is expected to take several months to complete fully, however, on completion the island will be able to support up to 10,000 troopers, service a full carrier group and aerial units. *Public* New Cymru has begun a process of upgrading our coastal assets. At this time we shall be reaffirming the RTZ, which extends 25 nautical miles from the coast of any mainland holdings, and is closed to all non AC vessels without prior approval by the government. Tanis777
We applaud our New Cymru allies for efforts in their new found construction efforts to upgrade existing infrastructure. *Classified* We're doing the same sort of projects as well over in Tanis. We wish you luck in your task. Edited February 28, 2009 by Quest07
ottawa1234
Bohovia is happy to hear about these recent upgrades to your nation. If you require construction workers, Bohovia would be happy to supply them, we can supply up to 5000 if you would be interested. Best of luck. LeVentNoir
*Classified* "Interesting, sat photos show military work being done on Nendo. Well, we have units in range on our islands, but lets not worry." *Public* We remind new Cymru that our EEZ extends 200 nautical miles from the edge of our territorial waters (12 nautical miles), and is closed to military vessels. As we know of military happenings on the islands to our north, we must ask if you are violating said policy. However, civilian ships and planes can pass through the EEZ with no problem or permission needed.
Silhouette
We do not see the problem. If we approach from the north, and do not proceed south of the island, we do not believe there is any issue.

If we approach from the north, and do not proceed south of the island, we do not believe there is any issue. The problem is that the entire island is within the EEZ. Silhouette
Perhaps then we should remind the Glorious Aotearoa that this is only so because of our generous gift, and that perhaps a little leeway is in order. However, if it makes you feel any better, we are happy to sign some sort of treaty that comes to some sort of compromise for this island alone. Nations are not lost to planes or defenses, but armies, and armies travel on navies.
Silhouette
Unless you have any intelligence to suggest we would use this island as a staging point to attack a vastly more advanced nation such of yourself, your fears of our use of this island are unfounded. We ask only a small concession. Even allowing us just one mile south of Nendo, the EEZ loses just a handful of nautical miles. And if it comes down to it, we can run interference for any possible attack from the north. We give you our word that this is nothing but a satellite base, to serve as a first line of defence against any attack from the north east.
