King Kevz Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 With the fires of the nuclear blasts still lighting the horizon the members of the Estovakian government met in the Royal Palace to discuss the future of Estovakia and its people. The collection of officials was filled with contrasts with some of them dressed in some of the most expensive clothes avaliable whilst others were wearing plain day to day clothes. A number of officals had split into their own groups to talk and discuss, you had the military to one side, the enviromentalists in another and the media officals circling them all like sharks. They were all busy chatting and talking away when the large double doors of the room opened and they swiftly silenced themselves as Empress Kusanagi back from her trip to Slavorussia stepped in. They all noticed the difference immediately as they saw the slight spring in her step and the small but noticeable smile in her features. "Ladies and gentlemen thank you for coming here. We have many important matters to discuss. Now please take a seat" she said gesturing for them all to sit down which they quickly did. Motoko looked about the room eyeing the members as she did, watching their reactions and trying to glimpse their feelings. "Now ladies and gentlemen as you all know a short time ago the world went all to hell and nuclear weapons were used on a scale which the world has ever seen. In the wake of this there will most likely be a large amount of Fallout and most likely a nuclear winter. Now what I want to know is what we can do to limit its effects on our nation. Mr Georgi your view please?" asked Motoko pointing one hand at the short, balding man to her right. Clearing his throat Mr Georgi stood up and loosened his collar before he spoke. "Well your majesty we have a fair amount of supplies to feed and protect most of the population however, a large number of the elderly and the young may not survive the winter. Also our manufactoring capacity will be heavily reduced unless we divert resources to providing protection for the workforce". After making his point the man sat down and slowly caught his breath back. Motoko allowed the government members a few moments to digest the information given to them by Georgi before she forced them back on to the issue. "I see its seems that we must intiate some changes then. First we will establish a system where everyone citizen's home is checked for comfort and surviabilty. If they must have changes made to improve upon their homes I want them done no matter the cost. Next I will ask for the military to hand over some of their NBC gear to be mass produced for our factory workers. Thirdly I want all access cut to the outside world. They have shown themselves to be highly dangerous and callous towards human life and we can not allow them access to our great nation. However, maintain open communication with Slavorussia as they are one of our few allies and Justinian is one of the few people I still trust on this planet. Also someone find out what happened to Sarah the leader of Hansa. Im sure she wasn't killed and she made need our help. That is all" finished Motoko as she stood and bowed to her government before leaving the room thus allowing them to work out the best way to follow her wishes without her interference. A short time later. The international airport was closed down to all international flights and the southern ports were also closed to foreign shipping of any type. The government also ensured that its people were out working to have homes made the most suitable for living against the possible winter that was to come whilst a number of factories were converted to producing NBC equipment. A small team of military scouts were sent abroad to search for the leader of Hansa and they regulary posted back their reports whether they had found anything or not. I mean it would make life easier for us military generals but a 30,000 strong independant private military company. Isn't that seeting us up for more trouble later on?" asked General Romonov as he folded his hands to calm his nerves and waited for the others to speak. "Yes Romonov it is a sound idea as it gives us a force that we can use abroad as well as freeing up the military to deal with the problems closer at home. Vorcheck gives us that brief on the "Roses of War" again please" responded Alexander Gertev High General of the Imperium's army. A short skinny man nodded his head in response before standing up and handing out the copies to the generals present. They all accepted one and then settled down to read the brief. Government Brief on the Roses of War Classified Material destroy after use Brief Description of organisation: The Roses of War private military company or PMC is a force of men and women whose skills range from poor to special forces and are armed with various types of weaponary. They sell their services to the highest bidder and then engage in military operations that their bidder asks them for. The location of their headquarters is unknown and any search for it turns up being futile and a number of operatives have been lost. All of its "employees" are only loyal to the company itself and in that they are 100% loyal. How they have managed this is unknown to us. Number of personal and leaders: The current known numbers of PMC personal is 30,000 minus their leaders. The majority of the PMC personal have very basic weapons training and are usually as guards and/or support soldiers. However, 5000 of the PMC personal are known to be ex-special forces and are used as the main "shock force" of the PMC. There is also an unconfirmed number of support pesonal who assist the combat troops. Below is the list of their current known leaders. Liquid The only thing we know about this person is that he is male and his code name is Liquid. From our reports we have managed to get from our operatives state that he is the leader of the PMC and everyone follows his orders and plans. Mantis Mantis is a young romanian woman aged about eighteen or nineteen and is the PMC's second in command. She like Liquid goes by a a code name and hers is Mantis. Our operatives have managed to gain a little more information on her than on Liquid and we believe that she has romantic feelings for Liquid and that is why she follows him. We also know that she is usually the one leading the PMC troops in battle and fights with a customed P-90. Equipment and weaponary: The equipment and weaponary that the Roses of War uses varies but is mostly 1980 to 1990 technology. However, their have been instances of them using more modern equipment too. Their main armament consists of a selection of assault rifles that the majority of the PMC soldiers use with some of them having underslung weaponary but most do not. The elite forces of the PMC seem to be equipped with modern rifles with different combinations being used for each situation. The group also possesses a number of machine guns and mortars which they have been seen to use from time to time. They also have a small number of anti-tank and anti-aircraft missile launchers. The PMC uses mostly six and eight wheeled trucks to deliver their forces to where they are needed though the PMC elite are always transported in by a number of APC's which usually stay to provide supporting fire. For long distance travel the PMC has a number of civilian transport aircraft in their control. Other than this the group also seems to possess a single Hind-D attack helicopter however, we have not had any confirmation on this. End of Brief "Well there you have it gentlemen. You turned back on our nation's heritage, our way of life and worse you have corrupted our very spirit with your Western ways!!!!" roared Kenji Tatso to the men that were bound and gagged before the guards. "We may not live upon the land of our homeland anymore but that does not mean you can turn your back on your heritage. For this crime you shall all face the death penalty. Die well." said Kenji before he bowed to the prisoners and left closing the room's door behind him as his guards beheaded the prisoners. Kenji walked along the corridors before walking gracefully into the underground bunker beneath Gracemeria. "It is a shame the Empress is absent but no matter upon her return have her sent to me" ordered Kenji to two of his most loyal officers who bowed before leaving. Turning to face the flag of Japan hanging proudly from the wall he smiled before speaking. "It is time to rise again". To ensure the successful return to the old ways for the Imperium Kenji has 10,000 of his elite troops under his command however, it is hoped that their will be few protests once the people remember who they truly are. King Kevz Posted February 28, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 28, 2009 In a bid to improve the grand nation that is the Estovakian Imperium Kenji Tatso has authorised the construction of more infrastructure through out the land to help improve the way of life for the people as well as providing the chance for changes to be made to the current Western style buildings. A large number of buidlings in central Gracemeria will be modified to remind the people of where they came from and where their honour lies. It is hoped that this will spark a wave of renewal through out the populace. Construction of the Golden State Bridge will also begin to not only provide a beautiful land mark for the people but to also help ease the traffic problems found in Gracemeria.
