Apollo11
Production will begin on the aircraft once we have wrapped up the events of the Carrier Sale. We will first begin on the cargo aircraft and work our way down the list. OOC: I will be bending time a bit so I can finish this before I go inactive. Apollo11
OOC: I hope you aren't making F-22s for carrier use? ooc: We need a land based airforce too. But actually you could use an F-22 from an aircraft carrier so long as that carrier has a ski-jump, however it is impossible to return the aircraft to the carrier. Apollo11
Production will commence under full swing with the cargo aircraft. Current production will focus on the An-225 and V-22 along with prefabricating components for the rest of the aircraft in this slot. Apollo11
Several Weeks Later. Engineer Saldana walked through the factory of the facility and watched the production lines go. He had always loved planes and after being denied into pilot school because of a heart condition he made it his mission to make them. He watched as the crews slowly lowered an An-225's wings being lowered into place and bolted in when he was snapped from his thoughts by his cell phone. "Yes." he answered without looking at the caller ID. "How is progress on the A series?" the caller said referring to the plane the Engineer just happened to be watching. "Excellent, we have almost completed the first one and the others are being prefabricated as we speak." he replied with enthusiasm. "That is good, we would like you to increase production on the V series as well as the C series. They need to be completed within the next 2 months." the voice said with a click following shortly after. The engineer looked over to the An-225 and wondered if they would be able to meet that goal as he watched the crews begin welding the frame. Markus Wilding
In Hojiiden, progress on the Karabiner 98 Officer's editions were going great. After the fall of communism, most factory workers were noticeably happier and as a result, producing more and more guns. One engineer in particular was watching. He noticed a worker slowing down. "We're paying you to make weapons, not sleep you bum!" he yelled at the worker. Many of these guns were to go either to Sergeants or officers in other countries within the ISAF, and production levels were rising. Every gun was printed either in German or some other language. Apollo11
4 Weeks in Engineer Saldana watched the tests on the V-22's tilt rotors with a look of slight envy. As they pivoted in either direction the pilot then started the engines and lifted off the ground. After performing a serious of in-flight tests and making some final assessment notes he brought it down and handed the voice record to the chief mechanic as he went to the next aircraft. It was the 6th aircraft finished. As Saldana walked back into the construction facility for the An-225's he started to examine the progress of the 5th airframe. The wiring had just been completed and the crews were continuing at a feverish pace. Work had been scheduled to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There was no pause in production. Every single second was taken to produce these aircraft. Taking advantage of the prefabrication facility incorporated into this habitat, workers immediately went to work on producing more planes as the rolled out of the assembly line. As he walked out he saw a C-17 as it came in for a touchdown. It was the first plane of its series to be built and had passed its maiden flight with minimal problems requiring only some minor adjustments that would also be incorporated into the production process to increase efficiency. He watched it taxi back to the maintenance hanger and then consulted his PDA about the production of that line. He then looked at the clear Antarctic sky and thanked the Lord that it was summertime. Six months of clear weather and zero storms made for perfect flight testing weather. He then walked over towards the A-380 production facility and moved to the observation office. The first airframe was moving along smoothly and its skeletal like support structure was already laid. Crew were around it busily welding pieces together as well as installing the electronics housing. He then walked back to the break room to pore over the plans for upscaling production. He sighed heavily and decided that some coffee and a hot danish would cheer him up.
Apollo11
8 weeks Engineer Saldana was looking over his PDA when his cellphone rang again. "Hello?" "How is progress?" The same voice as before came in. "We have completed 3 more An-225s as well as 2 A-380s. The C-17s are moving steadily and we have completed 5 more airframes. Production is expected to increase considerable since we are refining the production process to eliminate bugs as they're being made. The V-22 is progressing most quickly and we have now produced a total of 30. The KC-10 are taking a little bit but we now have 10 completed. We managed to pull the machinery back that we used to make the first 6. In four weeks we plan to have all planes constructed and be ready to move to phase 02." he stated with a hint of exhaustion in his voice. "Begin phase 02 now." the voice replied with apathy and then hung up. "Hijo de %^!" Saldana swore. Several heads turned to him at his outburst and he quickly yelled, "Get back to work you ca$%#@s!" Everyone scattered back to their duties. 1 week later He walked into the rotor wing production and watched the progress. It was moving extremely quickly. The Production Committee had agreed very quickly to grant him a much larger workforce. He now had 20% of the population working on making these airframes. He watched an AH-1Z come to life before his eyes and then muttered,"Still not fast enough." he shook his head and walked away. Phytoon
OOC: tanks in Antarctica? This is illogical. IC: Our crews have begun construction of the M1-A2 fleet. We will be constructing 300 of these tanks, and hope to be finished in a couple of months at mass-production quality. (OOC: does that sound realistic? I just kinda made up a number.) Apollo11
4 Weeks later The last of the An-225s had been completed along with 10 more A-380s. 20 C-17s had been completed and the KC-10s had also begun production with another 10 built bringing the total to 20. The V-22s completed had brought the total up to 50. Saldana looked over the progress on his PDA and looked to see how much more efficiently he could run the operation. Phase 02 was moving quickly and 20 AH-1Zs had been completed along with 20 AH-64s. They had also managed to produce 10 CH-53Es. The SH-60 and MH-60 having nearly 90% commonality in production were going the fastest and 20 of each had already been produced. 'It still isn't enough for them...' he thought to himself. He was beginning to lose a bit of weight due to the stress and his formerly plump self was giving way to a more frail and scrawny figure. His phone rang. He picked it up already knowing who it was without looking at the caller I.D. "What is it?" he asked with an obvious disdain for the caller. "We're looking over the progress you are making and find it to be satisfactory with the exception for the C-17s. Continue at this pace but make all effort to increase production on that model and any that are behind schedule." he said with a click. "I suppose that is the closest to a break I am going to get." Saldana muttered, putting the phone back into his pocket. He hadn't slept for a week. "At least I don't have to worry about moving into phase 03 yet. Hopefully I can get the crews to finish both of these by the time that needs to be started." He walked to the break room for a nap and some coffee.
