Nexxie
There seems to be an error, whenever I attempt to trade with my friend (Kalinast of the nation Nagrand), it automatically cancels it. I had a trade up originally, however, I accidentally traded in secret, voiding my team bonuses. Now it won't let us trade at all. EDIT: We cleared out both of our message/trade logs, and it worked. Perhaps there's some issue here, though? Is it known? Did I just fall off the turnip truck? Edited May 22, 2008 by Nexxie
Woodrow
You weren't attempting to cheat right?
Vivi
Have either of you logged into the game from the same network that the other uses or has used?
Nexxie
Nope, I have only ever logged in at my home network, and I noted that the trade had the lack of a happiness bonus, so I cancelled it and requested to trade. I knew that the school had a global IP, so I told him that only one of us should log in, ever, due to the heavy anti-assist/trade per people on same networks. My friend and I likely do not have the same IP, nor even the same ISP, so I don't see where that could be a problem. We both only joined... 3 days ago, and this is the first time we logged into the school network. Possibly there's an error somewhere causing trade acceptance/denial messages with one nation will override a current trade, as it only successfully worked when we deleted all our messages. I dunno if this is worth noting or not but it definitely seems like it shouldn't work this way.
Woodrow
and this is the first time we logged into the school network. Ding.
Nexxie
Um, the thing is, only he logged in on the school network. I didn't. I knew the school had a global IP and when I played several years ago, I found this out the hard way. Also, note that the trade was cancelled once when we were both at our homes as well, it only functioned after the messages were deleted.
