Hardstyle Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 1. make sure you have good trades (or join a trade circle). 2. make a lot of tech deals, you'll make money out of it. 3. make sure you don't have much battles (so join an alliance) 4. find the best government and religion (and don't forget your government settings) 5. It's really about finding an alliance or mentor to train you in all of these aspects. Hit the recruitment threads and look for an outfit that seems to have their act together and fits your philosophy. Join them and be bold about asking for all the training and mentoring you can get. Get your tech trade going if you can. This early on in the game if you are not too fussed about having much tech of your own, you can make some serious cash as you can buy the tech cheap.
