TheDave
Infra Calculator is on mrfixitonline.com I dont have the exact link but on the top bar there should be a menu option that says something like 'other games' - click. From the Cybernations menu select 'Infra Calculator' Now, to see the significance of the jump fill in your currect set up and put 999 infra in the box it shows you the cost to buy and the cost to upkeep per unit. Repeat but say you have 1000 infra. The costs are something like 22% more expensive. ie it goes from (example figures) $100 * 999 for upkeep to $125 * 1000 for upkeep. You need a large ammount of cash to boost past this increase. Although it will continue to increase only at tiny levels. e.g you might be paying $135 * 1300. You need a significant population increase and therefore tax increase so the highrer upkeep costs are smoothed over.

IranianEmpire
ive calculated and it says :Next jump is at 1000 infra. Total amount needed: $1,196,027.72 what they mean with total amount needed?
Count Rupert
It means the amount you need to have saved up to make the jump. In simple terms, jumps are points where there is a large enough increase in costs to buy and/or to upkeep that buying for example .01 infrastructure to go from 999.99 to 1000.00 will actually cost you money since the increased costs will outweigh the benefits gained by the population increase. The calaculations for jumps factor in at what point you need to be before the benefits outweigh the costs. In the calculation you made, you need to have $1,196,027.72 before making the jump from 999.99 and cross the 1k mark. Once you have, using it all to buy infrastructure should place you above the point where you no longer would make less than you did before making the jump.
