Zoot Zoot
When Colonel Teru and her delegation arrived in the capital, they would be greeted with full military honours and would be taken directly via helicopter, to the Imperial Palace. When they arrived, a high ranking military official would guide them through the Palace to the foreign affairs department to meet with Ishtar Kuna who was waiting behind her desk when Teru arrived. Standing, Ishtar approached the Colonal before bowing slightly and introducing herself. "Greetings Colonal, I am Ishtar Kuna, deputy Foreign Minister of New Babylon, welcome to the imperial capital. Please take a seat and let us begin." Once the Colonal had sat down, Ishtar would move to her own seat and begin speaking. "The Empire has nearly zero relations with African states with the exception of Alexandria, which is a relationship born out of requirement, not choice. Whilst we enjoy our relationship with Alexandria and find ourselves in a military alliance with them, in a large war, they are simply too small of a fish to swim in what would be an open ocean. With that in mind however, we do wish to expand our dilomatic tendrils forgive the terminology into Africa after expanding significantly diplomatically into Europe." Mentally, Ishtar was reciting her opening lines from a previous meeting with an African state, it was simple and to the point, leaving the door open for further discussion. OOC Apologies for the essential copy paste, time was of the essence when writing this mate, dont take it as me being too lazy to RP properly with you. Yerushalayim
Colonel Neru took her seat, flanked by a pair of aids. She opened her folio and glanced at the fact sheet regarding Babylon, though she'd memorized the information already. "Deputy Minister," the Colonel bagan, after listening to Ishtar's speach, "the Republic is interested in friendly relations with all nations across the world. We are willing to hear out Babylon as regards a formal, and friendly, relationship between our nations."
