Jackie Moon
So I've been fiddling with an excel sheet calculator to easily calculate the Crime Index for my alliance. I worked out the math for a few nations, and at a tax rate of 30%, the Crime Modifier should be 20%. However, I'm only getting the displayed crime index when I put 24.5% as the Crime Modifier number. For example my nation theoretically should be: ((1) * 80) + (((5 * 1.5) + (5 * 3) + (2 * 10)) * (.2) * 12) + 40 + (8,299.42/ 100) + (400-(95,547/500) = CPS = 510 But... It is actually: ((1) * 80) + (((5 * 1.5) + (5 * 3) + (2 * 10)) * (.245) * 12) + 40 + (8,299.42/ 100) + (400-(95,547/500) = CPS = 528 Which is reflected in my actual CPS as seen on my nation. I've done this out for a few other nations, just curios what is going on here?
admin
The equation that the game is using for the tax crime rate is: (1 - (Tax Rate * .01)) - .50 Are you taking into account government position effects?

admin
You are adding the equation wrong. It should go like this: 80 + ((7.5 + 15 + 20) * .2 * 12) + 40 + 82.9942 + 207.994 = CPS = 512.98 +15 from government position = 527.98 or 528 rounded. The 207.994 above is because you are using the wrong population number.
