Any suggestions? Joining an alliance would've helped against being attacked. If you can, I would also suggest replacing your bank with a guerrilla camp. Also, when you can, switch your government over to Communist. Both will help increase the strength of your army. Buy two CMs and fire them along with using your aircraft to launch bombing runs. Both of them will destroy some of his infra. Finally, don't rebuy infra or tech during the war. You will drain your money quickly.
