TheShammySocialist
To: The Foreign Ministry of Russia From: The Office of the Foreign Minister of Poland Subj: Formalizing Relations To whom it may concern It has been some time since the eyes of Warsaw have turned east, and it is unfortunate that is so, but nonetheless, the Fourth Republic would like to invite a Russian delegation to Warsaw to discuss future relations between our two great nations. There is much that Russia and Poland share in common, and we would like to turn that commonality into a basis of a lasting, formal friendship. We thank you for your time, and look forward to your reply. Best Regards, Wadislaw Maczek Foreign Minister

KaiserMelech Mikhail
Taking a small private aircraft from Moscow, diplomat Vladimir Grinin would land in Warsaw and await escort to the meeting location.
TheShammySocialist
[OOC: I'm proceeding under the pretext that this diplomatic RP runs in a timeline that is not concurrent with the conflict in Europe Receiving flight plans from Russian authorities on who was on board the aircraft and for what purpose, Grinin would be greeted at the airport by to Polish Foreign Minister Wadislaw Maczek's Chief of Staff, and a small honor guard. After exchanging pleasantries, Grinin and the Polish official would be relayed into central Warsaw to the government district. The drive through Warsaw on the way to the meeting location gave Grinin a chance to view the city's beautiful historical and cultural sites, including the UNESCO-recognized center market of the city. Arriving at the old Royal Palace of Poland, the car would pull into the courtyard, where Wadislaw Maczek stood, his hands clasped behind his back. An aide stepped forward to open the door, Maczek stepped forward, and in impeccable Russian, without a hint of accent, offered his hand to Grinin. "Welcome to Warsaw, Mr. Grinin, I trust your flight and ride in were comfortable?"
KaiserMelech Mikhail
"Most comfortable, thank you," Grinin said, shaking Maczek's hand. "Warsaw is a beautiful city, and it is amazing to think how far it has come since the devastation brought on by the fascist bandits all those years ago. A testament to Polish determination, is it not? Come, let us discuss how we can better aid our Slavic brothers."
TheShammySocialist
"And Warsaw is ever changing, it is a testament, you are quite right, our country continues to develop infrastructure everywhere, facilitating growth and development, I can only hope this trend continues," remarked Maczek, as he exchanged the handshake and beckoned Grinin inside the old palace. "Slavic brothers we are, as the traditional tale goes," nodded the Polish diplomat, as he escorted Grinin through the doors, strolling leisurely through the palace foyer, where aides stood off to the side, waiting for orders if there were any. "I would like to think that we can help one another, instead of a one-sided decision, Poland may be a small nation state, but we are certainly strong in certain sectors and have a strong national determination." KaiserMelech Mikhail
"Indeed, Poland's location at the crossroads of Europe along with its hardworking populace would make it a supreme asset for anyone to be in good terms with. However, Russia's global supremacy in mineral wealth, industry, scientific research, and military power necessitate that we be the... more generous party in our relationship. This is not meant to be insulting though. There is no shame or negative connotation in a younger brother accepting the extended hand of his older brother when we only wish for your well being and growth. Again brother, I merely ask, what issues do you face today?"
TheShammySocialist
"The most important concerns that the Fourth Republic has at this point are energy and raw material procurement security, simply put, we have no coastline so we do rely on your nation, and others for shipments of many raw materials so that our industries can turn out products. Assuring that our corporations can continue to do business with raw material suppliers in your nation, as well as continual access to Russian energy sources are important to us. We would like to see a new pipeline constructed specifically to one of our major refinery locations, so that crude oil can be processed there to whichever fuel is needed," stated Maczek, as he saw the Russian envoy into a small study that had some refreshments on a table, the room more homely than most diplomatic venues. "We would also like to inquire as to whether Poland can invest in Russia's western lands, opening up factories of our own. There are many business leaders who believe there are significant opportunities we can offer Russian citizens to work in Polish-invested facilities. Such facilities would stringently comply with Russian labor and wage policy laws, and probably exceed in most cases," added Maczek, with a confident nod. "Might I ask, where would you like to see strategic cooperation or communication with the Fourth Republic, at this time?" asked Maczek, as he sat back in a comfortable chair.
