I am writing to express and invitation to the Russian Empire to send a delegation or representative to Copenhagen to officially open diplomatic relations between Nordboerne Kongedømme and the Russian Empire.

 

If this is not convenient, arrangements can be made for a Norse dignitary/delegation to travel to Russia.

On behalf of the government of the Greater Russian Empire, and in my capacity as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, I hereby acknowledge your government’s invitation to Copenhagen for the purpose of establishing diplomatic relations. However there are pressing matters at home which limit the ability of myself and other senior officials to make the trip to Copenhagen.

 

Therefore, in keeping with your suggestion, we hereby extend an invitation to your government to dispatch a ministerial level delegation to Moscow. We look forward to meeting with you, should you accept this invitation.
