MostGloriousLeader
It had almost been a decade since the thirteen colonies had fought for their independence and won it from Great Britain, acquiring almost all of the lands east of the Mississippi River in the process. Since then the states had struggled to form a stable central government, trying and failing four times so far. The newest meeting between the state representatives was currently underway in the capitol of Washington DC, which was currently under construction, and this time it looked like things were going to work out. When the meeting was concluded the announcement was made. The constitutional delegation had finally completed and agreed upon a new constitution and a new government was to be created. The news was spread by riders throughout the colonies. The United States of America was born.
Captain Enema
Word of the folks outside of Kentucky getting a bit restless reached the ears of the Council of Elders, their official response was to ask, "Wha' run roo waugh gut?" They all nodded sagely too each other and went back to whatever they were doing before. The Overlanders of the Lost Tribe were a prickly insular lot who tended to keep to themselves, so it would come as no surprise to this newly forming entity of their lack of desire to involve themselves in any sort of process that took them away from their accept forms of worship, governance, and culture as dictated in the holiest of holy, otherwise known as the Torah (new reformed Lutheran Cherokee Abridged Version).
