Bartholomew Roberts, as MoFA of the GPA, I respectfully thank you for your concern but ask you to request a close of this topic. GPA understands the position and the alliances which have removed their signatures are aware of what they have done. Perhaps in the future things can return to the status quo, but I fear this is not a step in that direction, so if you don't mind, could you request a close?
I agree. You'd just be doing GPA a favour.

Then why should you care about the OP? You can't stop everyone from posting. Even if you could the CN community we know wouldn't be half as interesting if only a few were allowed to post.

Besides, at the very least he did it with proper grammer and didn't troll anyone, and this forum is for everybody who plays CN.

Honor shouldn't belong on the internets. It can be twisted into anything you like, and you can use it for justicification for whatever you like. Especially on CN.

If one could at least know what was the "OOC Attack". It's extremely vague if not specified.
The OOC attack was pretty much not banning the fake Bilrow in their own channel. Is Xenu even GPA gov't?
One should never take what happens in IRC seriously.

GPA lost its neutrality a long time ago. You don't have to choose sides in a war to lose your neutrality.

No. Though I'm relatively new to this game (started last December), I feel quite old. Alliances have fallen and risen, there's been 3 major wars and numerous others, many shifts in power, that if feels like it's well over a year.

Why do people think they are entitled to both the protection of a large alliance and the autonomy of a small alliance? You have to make a choice: Are you willing to trade autonomy for safety? If the answer is no, then don't be surprised if you end up tech-raided.
I think the reality of those who are "against" tech-raiding is they want to make a lot of pseudo-moralistic noise while doing nothing about it. They'll condemn it but not step in and do anything about it.
They tried. However CNARF is just laughed at today.

This isn't exactly true, Neboe. The Citrus War surrender terms did not have a cancellation clause so when you broke your word and went against the oath (even if I had stated that I would be releasing the ODN from it in the near future) you did something that the NPO has never done. To say otherwise is misleading at best.
I stood on the side of Right and Justice in the Great Patriotic War, just in case anyone didn't know.
What about giving apologies then taking them back? Doesn't that go against your word?
I'm not trying to bring ya down man, This is an argument.

Well, actually, that's exactly what Tygaland did. duffman was one of the main perpetrators in the aftermath. Tyga was punishing "the few" and then LUE (Anomaly, yes?) nuked NPO.
I have to ask, does Tygaland still hate all the CoaLUEtion like say for example E_S does? I'm curious, as I don't see him posting much anymore.

It was their leadership that is enough. At that time most nations were extremely self centered. Far more than they are today. Players wanted all the protection of an alliance without the responsibility. The notion that you could be held accountable for what your leaders did horrified most players in CN.
Now it's mainly used as a justification for war.

I don’t agree with that. Despite Ivan’s admission of defeat most CNers today regard that GPW as a draw. Furthermore they have little sympathy for LUE and believe that the NPO/NpO/IGC were in the right. The CN world of today has little understainding for board suicides and will gladly kick the crap out of the first alliance that even dares chuckle.
diskord argued this better than I could have. Therefore I will only say that it would be a shame in the future if some alliance member LUEicided without the rest of his alliance knowing beforehand, and the alliance getting crushed because he was in it at the time.

I think what made it unique was how there was that feeling in an alliance other than the orders and their allies.
And then you remember people like jsims8 and Arciel.
