Could make it so you could voluntarily pick one, just like in-game AA. Just make 12 masks, change them every once in a while (when necessary), and let alliances police who's flying them themselves. But this is all a discussion for other threads... I think.

I liked the quarterly audit, myself. Gave a clear finish line for what was, in a way, a peaceful race. What's a sanction now? Red italics? I really wish we'd bring back forum masks to people who were sanctioned.

I for one am looking forward to passing people we passed once before while benefiting from the suffering of an ally (see Atlantean influx) and then fell behind shamefully because the previously suffering ally didn't like the way we did things (see Atlantean exodus). I have every intention of unreasonably taking credit for every last success we manage to eke out between now and when CN explodes from an overload of awesome, IE, when Chuck Norris and Mr. T join.

Hoo boy, that was an ugly one. Viridia will get through this little rough patch and, in the end, be a better alliance for it.
