I would hardly call that wishing NATO well, a smear tactic style of post is quite the contrary I'd say. Situations do change in this world, and whilst I'm sure they greatly appreciated your assistance in the war, the treaty itself is no longer something they feel is necessary.
We find this cancellation confusing, considering we just fought a war in their defense. The confusion is further heightened by the fact NATO wished to cancel because of other treaty obligations; other treaty obligations that didn't seem to matter much to them before the war. Nonetheless, we wish NATO well in their future endeavours. -
I do not give permission for NATO to cancel on our mutual ally in R&R, so yeah, no need to speculate.
Well, the treaty with CCC is an ODP and RoK is connected with XX/SF/Aftermath just via ODPs, so if the the isolation of the previous mentioned sphere really started I think the one that should really worry about losing a treaty partner is R&R. I hope this isn't the case, but based in the post of NADC leader in this thread I fear it's just a fool's hope. -

A rare occasion when I count the top 2 people in an alliance among my favorite people in all of CN, yet I still really cant stand the alliance. Congrats Dave and Skippy... I really do love both of you. I just hope your alliance dies a slow painful death. :wub: -

So this just happened
Preamble: The Imperial Order (TIO) and the Pan National Union (PNU) hereby announce the following protectorate treaty
Article I: Sovereignty
Both the signatory alliances acknowledge and will respect each other’s sovereignty and independence.
Article II: Non-Aggression
Both TIO and PNU agree that no hostile action will be taken against one another. In the event of an incident, both signatories agree to settle the matter peacefully and diplomatically.
Article III: Intelligence
Should either signatory discover information that threatens the other, they are required to share said information with the other immediately
Article IV: Protection
Any hostile attack on PNU is to be considered an attack on TIO, and will be dealt with accordingly
Article V: Ankle Biter
Should TIO come under attack from another alliance, PNU is encouraged but not required to support TIO through military or financial assistance.
Article VI: Optional Aggression
Should either signatory declare on another alliance, it is encouraged for the other to support the aggressor signatory through military or financial assistance.
Article VII: Logistical Support
TIO and PNU will assist each other in constructing a solid economy through appropriate means. Each signatory will provide each other with priority status in buying and selling of external tech deals.
Article VIII: Cancellation
Should either signatory decide that this treaty has run its course, it may be cancelled with a 72 hour cool down time. If an article of this treaty is violated, it may be cancelled immediately

Nah, just ODN decided to be more independent before you did :PNo. C&G is not adopting an "abandon DH policy". This should put a stop to any speculation that we are before it even starts!
