    We celebrate our birthday

    Of a year and two days

    And this year has touched us

    In so many important ways

    From CAPS LOCK FRIDAYS

    To the banning of waffles and pie

    Ogodai needing attention

    While we all wonder why

    The wrathful justice of George

    Who always protects the channel

    From idiots and ovenrudes

    Without needing to wear flannel

    QuickSurfer offering personal attacks

    And copious amounts of profanity

    May make some people think

    That #cis is full of insanity

    Although this may be true

    You still should stop on by

    As #cis is always open

    Ok! So many of y'all know I'm not in CIS, however I was charged with a great honor. Their channel on coldfront just turned one year old two days ago. After much o/ing there was a great amount of cookie eating and card dealing in the smokey back rooms.

    I wasn't talking about his statement per se.. just to everyone who tries to make us look bad/helpless and to the trolls of the thread.

    Come on people, if you're going to talk about us, at least get to know us first before you make your assumptions.

    what Dilber is doing here: he is establishing good will with the people of BDC and with the public in general by appearing generous. Once he has their trust and respect the rest is easy, they will do what he wants and if they try to refuse he can bring up his initial magnanimity at which point they'll have no moral ground to stand on.

    We can think for ourselves thank you very much.

    I guess they felt your government was stable enough to govern itself.

    We had a stable government.. it's just we made a preventable mistake and we are paying the price for it. Nothing more, nothing less. Everyone saying that "there's other things afoot" or whatever... seriously, find some other alliance to talk about. In my book, you can just %@ off.

    Since everyone else has been nothing but sarcastic, I'll give my thoughts. It's because NPO has much more chance of turning BDC into puppets than GATO (at least, that's the impression they are under). Thus they are being nice to BDC to try to turn them into allies/puppets (with NPO, there is no difference IMO). With GATO, their goal is to keep GATO weak for as long as possible while appearing not to be doing so.

    First of all who are you? Second, do you even know the full story? Third, so we're puppets now? hmmm... cause last time I checked we just got out of the war, surrendered to those terms, and will accept rebuilding aid. If we want to form a relationship with NPO, we will, but anything you, or anyone else says will not influence our decision when this viceroyship is over.

    Already Dilber has gotten things rolling that'll put us on the fast track back to normal. The only things I care about right now are my members' well being and the state of the government.

    I had more fun than I thought I would. I must thank y'all for being so generous in your attacks, as it increased my casualties count... which will allow me to buy that wonder one of these days. lol. I must also thank y'all for increasing our forum activity, we were in a serious rut before this, and now most of the alliance is active. :D

    Shout out to all the alliances that mentored and guided us during those dark couple of days.
