Hasty Generalization is the drawing of a broad conclusion from inadequate evidence. You are correct in saying that he was involved with them and this is not a Hasty Generalization, there is no doubt that he was, but to say that Jerdge was acting in the interests of LoFN off of such evidence is a Hasty Generalization.

I think what Ephriam was perhaps trying to say here was that you could perhaps fog off a single piece of evidence as circumstantial. However when circumstances begin to repeat themselves and the accused find themselves linked to a particular group in multiple circumstances you must look at the wider picture and the links between the evidence and not each as a separate entity.

Ephriam has, more or less, been throwing out these "pieces of evidence" in a card stacking and slippery slope fashion.

What can be concluded is that Jerdge was acting in the interests of LoFN and thus is involved with them.

Such a conclusion would be a hasty generalization.
