Same here, wish it was planned that way. At least we'd have had some hope of actually making it out of this.

Because it would be so much more honorable if we sticked out of the war entirely and didn't recognize some rash decisions we made.

This would be plausible, except for the simple fact there's so little to gain and so much to lose by intentionally delaying our entry into the war. If we had entered the war on first day, we would have just gone with the plan you're thinking of. What is the use of delaying this one day? If other Q alliances join us, they're welcome, but we're not expecting much.

Pretty much. Decision making was a bit rash.

Some people really disliked the notion that NPO hadn't informed us of peace talks they were having. However, we've all decided unanimously that this is not the time to reconsider years' long allies, whatever they did, and we're honoring our treaties. I can assure you, to the general membership, there was no ploy.
