  1. The Grand Global Alliance today celebrates the one year accession of BearerofTruth and Bilrow to the role of the Triumvir in the Grand Global Alliance.

Of course this celebration would not be complete without recognizing the ones who retired and appointed BearerofTruth and Bilrow as Triumvirate members.

ALdbeign - ALdbeign enslaved recognized the potential of a rising star within the Grand Global Alliance, BearerofTruth, and entrusting him to setting up the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the manner in which it is still run today. ALdbeign has been a guide and person to rely on for the past year on all decision making processess the current Triumvirate do and we owe alot to him.

Kevin the Great - The "janitor" who cleaned up after Prodigal_Chieftain on a daily basis. Kevin the Great has been not only a role model for current Triumvirate members but to all Grand Global Alliance members through out his membership within the Grand Global Alliance. If it had not been for Kevin the Great's great diplomacy and handling of situations the Grand Global Alliance would have been a crater of an alliance over a year ago.

Here's to the future of the Grand Global Alliance, may she prosper and always be in the hearts of members past and present.

  2. The initial terms proposed to FAN from the Initiative made the terms presented to \m/ look like a gift certificate to the duty free store. Of course we didn't pee all over ourselves and commit suicide because of it so any similarities end there. Personally I thought they were funny.

It's straight from the former Initiative playbook. Give some asinine terms to make them twitch, roll out the "terms never get any better" mantra, then wait until they crack and screw them over.

This is very true. Too bad they did not turn the page in their Initiative playbook to the next step instead of giving up.

  3. Ivan, I would be more inclined to comparing it to being sold into slavery, since that's pretty much what ES offered to \m/. It's slavery or suicide. Would you live on if you knew you would be enslaved for your whole life? Or would you take the other option and not suffer the indignity of being a slave to your sworn enemy?

You should look up history and ODN and their oath to Ivan they used to have to take. ODN did not give up and they are still here.

  4. I agree with Ivan. Its a shame to see alliances fold out of defeatism after building a reputation of their camaraderie and prowess. Like the quote says, actions speak louder than words, and the actions of those alliances who fold out of defeatism do not match their words at all.

Furthermore, its a shame to see others who were not even the target of OOC attacks to use that OOC attack to pull out of a IC war.

  5. Ah well, difference of opinion then. While I understand you dislike the actions. Even attack them/zi them and/or placing them on a perm-zi list... It has been months. Not sure when it was but it was a long time ago. In Cyber Nations time that is. Not sure how he joined FOK and what the conditions were (if there were any) his conduct has been amazing. While you see it differently I think Cyber Nations could use such players. Even when they did something terribly wrong in the past. Time passes and normally that makes people a bit more 'loose'.

He joined FOK, with FOK leadership knowing of his perma-ZI status because they came to inquire about. Its typcial CyberNation protocol to NOT accept a member that you know is on someone else's Perma-ZI list.

So while I can understand your reasoning. When I would be a member I might even have agreed on the course of actions but time has passed. Since then, at least from my perspective, he has been acting well. Has he been an asshat since? He writes in this topic he never attacked a GGA member, even when under attack. So I don't think his motives are/were to run GGA to the ground.

Maybe you fail to understand the definition of perma-ZI. It means forever.

  6. Every alliance has members breaching their trust. Unfortunately. Someone doing that as a 'leading' figure in the alliance makes it worse but it shouldn't. I assume he was given that position based on merit. He did something good for GGA and was deemed 'worthy' of that position. Past actions account for something: Positive and negative acts should be taken into consideration. To me it seems like the following: He did good things for GGA. Was give an important position. Breached the trust. Getting a more severe punishment because he has a more important position that he got because he did good things... well it doesn't quite explain it. I understand your reasoning and that of GGA. My point: Past actions matter but the positive things as well. The position in which someone breaches trust shouldn't matter (while I understand that it does) because he got that position based on merit.

Hopefully you can understand my point.

Perm-ZI seems harsh. Especially since it was months ago. He has been in peace mode ever since with trade sanctions. No one can play the game properly. Why are you, GGA, so destined to remove a player from this game. A player you deemed worthy of an important position within your alliance. He did good things and did mess up badly. Well, now I am repeating myself. Hope you understand the point I try to make in this post. It seems harsh and after months it just doesn't seem necessary anymore.

Violating the GGA Charter no matter if you are in the highest rank to the lowest rank can result in that person being expelled and perma-ZI'd. I will assume you are a new member of CyberNations and don't know the history of the Grand Global Alliance and the Emperor we used to have, Prodigal_Chieftain, that thought he was above the charter. We couped him last year on Sept 29th, because it does not matter what good a person has done if they violate the charter, the law, of the Grand Global Alliance, they will be removed and attacked/perma-ZI'd if decided.

Could you point it out to me? If it is in your charter (which I didn't see but I just glanced at them)... on what do you base the decision for perm-zi? Is there a list of sanctions for specific action or you make them up on the go? Your charters mentions punishments but not for similar actions and perm-zi isn't mentioned anywhere either. (Saw your post now quoting the charter which wasn't there last time I checked).

Second: Does the fact that Phoib has send millions in aid to other GGA members account for nothing? Expulsion? Sure. I can understand. Declaring him a rogue? Maybe. Holding a grudge even after months? No. It's also weird things could be settled with IAA, which were attacked, and not the GGA.

(Ow the picture doesn't say anything to me. No names can be seen.)

    VIII. Chivalry

We believe each member's behavior reflects the alliance as a whole. We hope our alliance can be seen as a benevolent yet strong one in the eyes of all others. Member nations can expect praise, awards, and promotion to those who abide by the way of the gentlemen warrior diplomat. Nations in our alliance are allowed constructive criticism at any time, the heads of our alliance will always be there for any member, and will be willing to listen to any suggestions that might come their way. Topics can be discussed freely without fear of reprisal on alliance forums. However sowing hateful or needless threads within the GGA and especially on outside forums will not be tolerated and the said nation will face penalties. A nation's punishment in the GGA will not be at the whim of one or two members, but will first be discussed and then decided on by the higher chambers.

Quoted it for you, its the last article of the wiki which is located at: http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/Grand_Global_Alliance

Second: it doesn't matter if Phoib gave 300 trillion dollars away for the alliance, he violated the charter in ordering attacks on aligned nations which were not approved by the GGA Triumvirate.

    D. Declaration of War A declaration of war against another alliance takes a unanimous vote in favor by the Council.

In the cases of unaligned nations attacking GGA members or GGA members kicked out for treasonous reasons, it only takes a decision by any member of the Council.

Any decision made by one member can be overturned with a majority vote by the other members of the Council.

  8. Do check the dates, as those were the attack orders against VE.

That's odd, then why did you provide that as your evidence of your innocence.

I will be glad to quote the GGA charter for you in regards to this situation:

A nation's punishment in the GGA will not be at the whim of one or two members, but will first be discussed and then decided on by the higher chambers.

Your evidence was found lacking by all three of the GGA Triumvirate members and it was decided unanimously on your removal from the alliance and placement to perma-ZI. All the whining, history revision, and grand standing is not going to change your punishment.

  9. It was a great "joke". To bad the evidence you presented to me to prove you "innocence" had you ordering attacks on IAA nation as a GGA Military Officer in violation of the GGA charter. I have not pity for you, you deserve what you are getting.

  10. All nations currently at war with the New Polar Order must follow the individual surrender terms in order to be granted peace. There are no exceptions to this except nations which will never be granted peace. Let this be a lesson to all who would wish our people ill. We Polars believe in diplomacy and the peaceful resolution to disputes as much now as we ever have; however aggression against us or our allies will never be tolerated and the offending alliance will be wiped from existence. \m/ will serve as an example by which all other alliances may learn a valuable lesson. Deal with us peacefully or face your own demise. My capacity for mercy in this regard has shrunk to nil. If the shoe was on the other foot I don't think \m/ would have been so charitable.

Hail the mercy of Sponge and Polaris.
