  1. Greetings, friends!

Or not so much as friends as people who are all tussling about for the flag.

Here's what's going on. Geist of Koerper is dead. He has 28m in bank, and was hit by a rogue while hiding on a POW AA. He's has no chance of winning. His warchest size is 28m. Feel free to spy my warchest to confirm.

Now, what are my remaining goals? The same as last time.

I hate The Foreign Division / The Fightin' Division / Mario Kart like poison. I hate their guts, after what's happened in the past, and after Raam's duplicate successes.

We managed to stop them last round, but Kamek still managed rank 2. This round, I'm probably too late and TFD can claim victory.

Their latest incarnation is NATO, which is an alliance TFD is on very good terms with. Aside from Keland, whom everyone knows is a threat with 55m warchest remaining, and has already tasked 3 guys onto, NATO has two guys that haven't been hit yet.

The first is Saline / Ocean. Saline / Ocean is pooling 28m warchest and something like 5 nukes. He's a marginal threat: his nuke count means that compared to someone with 20 nukes, he'll be penalized -3k NS with 10 (now 9) nukes. But he has 28m in warchset and is not in anarchy yet. If he's left alone he has a reasonable shot. Someone please send him into nuclear anarchy.

The second is Amraam. Amraam I suspect is General Raam's new nation. Maybe not. Maybe it's Keland, or Saline, or whatever. They mess around the names a lot like any reasonable alliance. Amraam has 13m pooled and is due to collect out of nuclear anarchy tomorrow. He has 6-7 days back collect, I won't pull the number out of a hat, which will translate to 20-40m after collection. That's a pretty good chance of winning, especially since he has 15 nukes.

There is one guy on him right now, but that guy is out of nukes and can't buy more nukes due to low NS and lack of uranium. If someone could launch a coordinated blitz on him, you should be able to stick Amraam into anarchy and screw with his next collection, neutralizing his threat.

  2. *THIS POST DOES NOT REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF ANY C&G ALLIANCE OR ALLIANCE GOVERNMENT. INSTR IS AN ALLIANCE GRUNT WHO PREVIOUSLY SERVED AS AN ALLIANCE TECH BUYER BUT OTHERWISE HAS POSSESSED NO PORTFOLIO*

So, by your logic, sanctions placed on North Korea and Iran justify their nuclear program and general belligerence towards US allies?

If the conspiracy theories are correct, TOP was tricked into attacking into an unfavorable war. If anyone is at fault here, to begin with, TOP declared outside the normal rules of war. I personally don't believe in any rules of war, but the Cyber Nations community does and attacking without a legitimate casus belli is a major faux pas. TOP must have thought they could have gotten away with it, in the way many other alliances have managed to get away with falsified casus belli, in the sense that they could dictate the rules of the game after winning the war and then declare themselves the winner. Then there is the matter of Polar, who, according to TOP, gave them the idea of executing an illegal war. Polar bears some of the blame for instigating TOP's crime, but in the end, it was TOP who accepted the concept and started an illegal war.

Regarding Bob Janova's desire to see this war's end, TOP has shown itself to be a security threat to Complaints and Grievances in a way that Complaints and Grievances has not shown TOP. We are the victims of unjustified aggression by a major world power, which, we have seen, is severely paranoid. Mushroom Kingdom may joke amongst ourselves about rolling all the alliances we don't get along with, but we are not the ones who tried to "roll" TOP. TOP is trying to roll us.

  3. regardless of those stats, TOP has more then enough cash/tech to last a lonnnnnng time, after 8k nukes insane infra/tech lost i think CnG and TOP will find a way to end this

No you don't. Spy attacks were changed and we have reasonable amounts of warchest information. You won't last more than 3 months of high-intensity warfare, and that's not including the effects of spy attacks, which can destroy 1bn of warchest in 50 days.

  4. Not really, 3m/50 v 3m/100 is a loss of about 25% volume. 3m/50 is 25 tech per slot, 3m/100 is 100/3 tech per slot, so it comes out to 25% reduction.

The main problem is that the process of tech dealing transforms sellers into buyers, which induces further inflation in tech costs. By increasing the cost of tech, you also increase the rate at which sellers are transformed into buyers, and without controls on this process the tech market will collapse and the amount of tech available in CN will become stagnant except for nuclear wars, which will reduce the amount of tech in the game world.

  5. The way I see this is that Graemlins has just surrendered its foreign policy sovereignty to MHA. MHA still maintains treaties, but Graemlins does not, so informal decisions by Graemlins are superseded by the treaties binding MHA and binding Graemlins to MHA.

    So as of this moment:

    Mushroom Kingdom

    Argent

    Umbrella

    Fark

    FOK

    Of these few,

Umbrella is bound via MDP with MHA. Fark has a MDoAP with MHA. Argent, FOK, and Mushroom Kingdom no longer have any ties to Graemlins. The previous treaty cancellation with TOP is covered by an MDoAP with MHA.

So the way I see it, it's a stealth downgrading of Graemlins' ties to Mushroom Kingdom, Argent, and FOK.

  6. News flash: Mario has been nuked. He'll be in nuke anarchy until the end of the game. There's a few others who I think should be in nuke anarchy, but eh, trying to get people to rogue victory candidates is getting tiring.

  7. By the way, anyone planning on hitting Kamek?

    http://tournament.cybernations.net/nation_...tion_ID=1000700

He's only being rogued by one guy, and that guy is low on nukes against an SDI-armed nation.

    http://tournament.cybernations.net/nation_...tion_ID=1002542

Has also gotten out of nuclear anarchy

    http://tournament.cybernations.net/nation_...tion_ID=1002676

Has been rogued already, but his rogue seems reluctant to push him back under the nuclear anarchy glow.

  8. By the way, from what I've seen, SimplyAmazing has gone quiet and that means that this RD nation is STILL out of anarchy. Can someone please retarget this guy?

    http://tournament.cybernations.net/nation_...tion_ID=1000512

The way it turns out, it seems Raam won last round because he bribed his attackers to go quiet. Otherwise, my 28k would have been tops. Are there any irregularities in this RD v Pork Shrimp war?
