  1. I can only support that Doctrine. In my opinion strength should always be used to protect and to grow. Not to destroy and threaten, except self-defense. The NPO is not only creating a safe environment for their trade partners, but also offering security for those who just want to be left alone and do not intend to harm anyone. A noble decision, which has my respect.

Indeed. Much like the Revenge Doctrine, our own CTC was designed to provide the same things outlined in the OP.

This post was a nice read, and much more light that usual. Thanks for that.

  2. I've never been able to understand why people produce multi-paragraph, essay length, perfectly edited posts to discuss quite literally- nothing. If the posts I've read here are any indication of how boring this game has become, I'll "submit" that the OP has a point.

  3. I stopped reading at FAN.

They took six months after being cluster-violated to disappear from the spotlight. They went out with more class than any alliance in the history of this game. I had assumed this was a common place fact.

  4. There are no "alliances" that One Vision and Continuum are trying to set up and then protect. That was exactly my point The Citadel is a block. If you want to create an alliance called CTC, do it and have the Citadel protect it. But if it's not an alliance, then it's open game for tech raiding.

These are the rules of Planet Bob?

Just because it has not been done. Does not mean that it cannot be done.

Explain to me why you have an issue with this again? I fail to understand.

  5. As a friend of Sparta, I am disgusted to see a former Spartan leave with such honor and disgrace. Blaming Moo for problems that others started is despicable. The Divine Bovine is the perfect balance of Ivan's military might and Dilber's golden tongue.

Next time I see Dilber, I'm selling him to a scrapyard.

Good luck on your roguery sir, don't mess it up.

  6. I think calling Emperor Charles into question is something that most of you cannot afford the luxury of doing. You see, the man is far more skilled and a far better leader than the field. The best man for the top position. I fail to understand this has been referred to as the same as before. Was it not established that Otto Van Bismark was the culprit?

Emperor Charles rejoined the NADC after a very poor coup. He has attained peace for his alliance, and shown a level of dedication that I doubt many of us have.

Congratulations to ECVI on yet another re-election.

I hope Sayeret is worth the stress.

  7. Do you have a head injury?

This is the real land of lawson?

Defcon 4 seems like a bad idea for 3 active wars going on by the way.

You are ungood at flaming. Brush up on you Planet Bob before you try next time.

The "x" Nuclear Rogues was a policy created by FAN during Great War III. I am unsure of any Continuum threshold for nuclear rogues (but if I was, I wouldn't be posting it here). I've seen a few TOP nations get nuked, and I'm obviously unhappy. I'd prefer to see this war stay conventional, it profits me.

  8. With my alliance affiliation comes the implication that I would be faithful to Gramlins. I'd like to make it clear that no such implication is necessary - The Gramlins earn every bit of respect that is given to them. With each passing day this respect grows.

I understand that with this war we have put the Gramlins into a delicate situation. They must chose carefully between the duties to their team and their duties to their allies. I'd like to apologize to Gramlins for causing turbulence within the Green sphere. I hope this war does no tarnish to a friendship which I feel is as strong as any within the confines of Planet Bob.

I fully support your decisions in this manner. I believe them to be the most wise given the circumstances.

    Paradoxia Vult!

    /o Gramlins!

  9. It's certainly the case that Crymson would have preferred that TOP fought on the side of UJP during the Unjust War. However, unless he had been were somehow able to mind control more than 85% of the alliance not much would have happened as the majority of TOPers wan't neutrality, the next greatest number wanted to fight with ~ and only a handful of people supported UJP (those people were abnormally concentrated in the government, but TOP is a democratic alliance).

Dilbert, this is absolute slander and you know it. I don't blame you for being bitter, considering you've failed at trying to slip back into our alliance twice now.

The official stance was neutrality. We stuck with it. Nobody was declared on. Nobody picked a side.

We had allies getting hit, we took our chances. This is a dead discussion.

  10. Trying to stay away from negativity, I find it necessary to comment that Crymson is quite the opposite of whatever picture that has been painted in this thread.

As stated by the man himself, he was not diplomatically related at the time. Crymson handled our internal affairs, and did a fantastic job of it. At the time, he had rejuvenated our recruiting processes, restored IRC activity, cured cancer, and organized the alliance.

In his term as Grandmaster, TOP has prospered. Crymson is one of the most well respected and most liked leaders within this game. I'd like to see someone (who hasn't already spoken, incorrectly, on the subject) contradict this. If you'd like to see a skilled leader, look no further. His public conduct has been entirely respectful and is a perfect representation of TOP.

I look forward to another term with Crymson at the helm.

  11. It's great that you find him physically attractive, but European accents don't impress me at all... and the English accent makes me want to punch the speaker square in the nose. Also if I were actually in charge the war would probably still be going on.

I am now Supreme Viceroy of The Order of the Paradox and Grand Poobah Mucketymuck of the Order of the Black Rose*. So yus.

*May or may not be true. Results vary.

If only Grand Poobah was an actual position. We need a Flintstones government.

Sponge, I don't find him physically attractive. (Not that there would be anything wrong with that) I find him verbally attractive. You talk tough, but when the soothing words of EC are flowing, it'll be like the first time you heard the Beatles.
