    wonderful news, always good to hear that a nation that owes around 40 mill in reps to the CON is being nice enough to make a account to slander our name on the CN forums.

    This spat began with outright insults against TOP by Electron Sponge, and it has continued with outright insults against TOP by Electron Sponge. This is not a discussion; it has devolved into flaming and attempted bullying, and it is not something that TOP will lower itself to continued engagement in.

    Respect is an earned quantity, Crymson. You earned quite the opposite given your actions during the recent conflict. Here's a little clue for you as a neophyte leader in this game - when your alliance says it is going to be neutral, be neutral. Don't go sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong. I know that little episode with AiD's withdrawal and the threats against GATO were something you among others were machinating behind the scenes. I consider it a highly unfriendly act for an alliance which was purporting itself to be neutral. I told one of your people at the time that I wouldn't forget it. Guess what? You won yourself a ticket onto my bad side! In case you aren't familiar with my bad side, that's where nations and alliances go to die. (That is, unless they are smart and find a way out.)

    You played a dangerous game during the war. You had to know there would be consequences. Welcome to the consequences. We're just getting warmed up.

    Our relations were terrible before this. If TOP were concerned about their relations with me and my alliance they'd have made an effort to fix what they broke during the war.

    I'll keep these overt threats in mind the next time I ask the alliance if they care what you think. Here's a tip, ES: go find somebody else to bully, somebody who actually fears what you say-- for we do not.

    Crymson is a snake in the grass. There are quite a few people who agree with this assessment that I know of, although very few of them are able to voice their opinion regarding him as openly as I am able to.

  16. Unusual registration problem/Name change request

    I had sent this to SOE in a PM originally, but it has been several days and I have not yet heard a response, so I figured I'd post it here.

    Anyway, my original forum name was Crymson (which is my ruler name and nation name). I had registered that name with an email address to which the validation email was apparently not able to pass through. I know that the usual procedure for solving this is to simply change the email address in one's profile and have the validation email resent thereafter. However, I'd also managed to forget the password to my forum account. As such, I was not able to log into that account in order to alter the email address contained in the profile therein. Needless to say, the password-reset email could not get through to my inbox either.

    As such, I discussed the matter with an op in #cybernations, who suggested that I create a new account and immediately PM a mod about my situation. How are such things usually handled? Would it be possible for my previous--still unactivated--account to be deleted, and for the name on this account to be changed to replace it?
