This is my situation as well, my friend found it by Googling and he invited me over weeks later. I don't think I'll ever quit playing it, I hope we aren't forced to give it up, it's quite addicting.

I thought that might be it, but the game update log says this: http://www.cybernations.net/game_update_log.asp 1-11-2014 Messages between two players (non game generated) will be stored for 90 days. Saved private messages will be kept forever instead of just 30 days. All other messages will continue to auto delete after 7 days. Did this change?

Is there a limit to how many messages you can save? I've saved pretty much every message I received since I joined Cybernations (which was on the 10th of December), yet my received messages are only displaying from January 8th, or only the last 29 messages I received.
