War in another front! Our victorious but tired troops trekked last night five miles on a forced march to join an attack by Norden Verein on the Libertarian Socialist Federation in retaliation of their largest member nuking NoV's largest member, as well as a member of Nueva Vida. Two LSF nations have been engaged by Vitland (still recovering from the GOON war), and more have been by he rest of our allaince. As we are part of the Hanseatic League it is our duty to do so, although we are sad we are once again at war with the LSF (last time was know as the St. patrick's massacre). And we also glad to report that after a spirited and well fought defense NovaKova of EoTRS has surrendered and is now a NoV POW. He did take two parting cruise missile shots at us just before changing his AA. Tsk, tsk... However in all our mercy we understand how he could be upset... and we forgive him. We fight! we kill! we die! and then the grudges are gone, anger is forgotten and we celebrate! As of this moment, NovaKova, as a NoV POW is under our protection. Join Us!! I think a guy already did this in the old forums, bragged about how many days he went without paying beills (like 130 or so). When asked what was he doing he said he just gave the money as aid to his alliance mates. As a result the Great and Holy Almighty Admin (long live his reign) changed the rules so that a person could no longer give out aid without paying his bills first. Then he sold his infra, collected, and bought infra back up. He said he almost went back to his original size. Vitauts. Maybe some one will remember better who he was or what he did.

Hum.... recruiting.... Maybe thats what we need... We are a small alliance (22 members) with good allies and MADP's but with slow growth. One of the reasons for the slow growth is that we have grown from the ground up and have never been blessed with having a large nation or a banking nation. So we make do. We are a meritocracy and we reward success. If you bring in members you will be rewarded (although not as much as our esteemed colleagues posting here). As we are allied with Norden Verein we hope you can operate even if there is a slight right wing bias to our ideology. We fought for the Justice League but we will accept warriors from the other side as long as they fought hard and well (we dont want any one that jumped ship in the first week of fighting.. from either side). We are glad to report that the tensions between The Enforcers and the PoC over a raid of a BE member have ended. The Enforcers have graciously agreed to pay reps to the original BE (The Byzantine Empire) member they raided (if he bothers to tell us how much that is). It was painful to go against another Aqua Alliance and we are glad it did not go beyond a minor scuffle. All Hail the PoC!! All hail Aqua unity! Join US! King Vitauts the Great BE defender.

More info. It seems that the happiness drop still happens with 80% Modified soldiers to citizens, not BASE soldiers to citizens. I have 9411 working citizens, with 5232 soldiers and (7462) modified soldiers. My base soldiers are only 55.6% of my population. But if I try to buy 100 soldiers more it says that it will go ver the 80% limit. Now, 80% of 9411 is 7529. So clearly the max soldiers I can deploy is based on the modified soldiers. I thought this had been changed... Vitauts, scratching his head in confusion

Argh!!! Got confused and caught up with the new soldier calcs. When you deploy.. you deploy the BASE soldiers! (not the soldiers in parenthesis) So I deployed too many and was left with ONE defending soldiers. Shame.. shame.. shame on me. King Vitauts.. head hung low

Oh Admin! I am but a worm that crawls at your feet, waiting to be squashed and I beg for your mercy! I think I know what I did. Before attacking I bought soldiers to bring my 'modified soldiers' to about 9000. Then I went to the deploy screen and it told me the maximum I could deploy was 6080 soldiers. I took it to mean 'effective soldiers' so I deployed 6079 soldiers (one less). Does this means that the soldiers you deploy are 'base' soldiers? You can deploy 100% soldiers? I will be self-anarchied due to my stupidity? (yea.. well deserved?) hum.. this also means that I should have won the battle In any event... Thanks admin! I never bought barracks or gerrilla camps, as they were useless, as my happiness would go down on deploying 80% of 'modified' soldiers. Muy understanding is that it is now 80% of base soldiers..and now guerrilla camps and barracks have meaning. I will war again tonight and try to learn you new systems of war. Note: all soldiers quoted are 'modified' soldiers I was attacked this morning. I bougth soldiers to my normal level, about 6400 in defense and 800 offense. I buy more soldiers to about 9000. I deploy 6079 (max allowed 6080). I attack. I loose both wars. HE DOES NOT ATTACK ME BACK I then look at my soldiers. About 4500 deployed, ONLY 1 defending. It looks like the losses were subtracted from the defending soldiers and not from the attacking soldiers. This is obviously wrong to me.. unless thee is somethin in the mechanics I am missing. If I deploy soldiers and I attack.. the deployed soldiers should die, not the soldiers left behid protecting the nation. Victory! No more available Goon slots, RnR surrendered, BAPS surrendered, and no more available EoTRS slots. It was tough! Many props to our opponents in the Goon counter attack: S-Empire, Nutopia, Jigoku, Thump. You all put a HECK of fight! incredible display of military might! we were honored to have fought you. The same can be said of our RnR opponents: ferretopia, Anihilate, and others. We hear that BAPS were fierce warriors but by the time we got to them and EoTRS we were simply the clean up crew.. and the epic battles and brave fights were all but gone. We would like to extend our hand in friendship to all (well, after we stop fighting GOONs and EOTRS and they surrender). We were allies of GOONS once (in GW3) and GOONS were reasonable in a few raiding incidents with us. So after all is over.. Come on by and have a few beers, drink some mead, eat some steak and swap tales of glory. King Vitauts, wishing for a quick resolution of the conflict.

Its Over! You managed to walk away from the war with your head held high and your honor intact. those are the most imporant things.. and as any Farker knows: Infra? Pfft! Please! knowing how to rebuild is ingrained in us!
