The Democratic Order was founded back in January of 2007 on the simple basis of maintaining neutrality admist the chaotic maelstrom of Cyber Nations politics by avoiding treaty webs and aggressive behavior. We as an alliance focus simply on fostering growth amongst all of our nations, and camaraderie amongst our membership. Our tenets are basic, but that has undoubtedly contributed to the longevity of the alliance. Neutrality, persistent internal development, and an easy-going membership clearly define the alliance. [/quote] Most of the statistical decline was intentional. We were already sanctioned and got our in game flag. There was really no need to maintain the sanction at that point. So we cut back on recruiting and tried to become a smaller more close-knit alliance rather than the massive chaos that we were.
