  1. I'm looking mostly to cut down my bills as much as possible. I don't want to be a military might until I have nothing else to do with my nation, at which point I'll probably just be getting my alliance a higher average nation strength score. i'm mostly just a tech dealer.

  2. I can afford to sell tech for the old price and I prefer steady income to occasional inflated income. Lately my tech deals have slowed down but as you can see from my foreign aid screen I don't rip people off and I'm pretty reliable. I do require the money up-front though and I prefer not to have to deal with middle men. Please don't flood me with pms, just post a link to your nation below and send me 1 mil for every 50 you want me to send you. i'll send you 50 every 10 days.

  3. I'm nearing the point where I'm gonna start buying improvements, but the Nation Building Guide above wasn't much help. I have no idea what to buy first and what to buy after that. Some help, please? A list of all of them in the right order would be fantastic, but right now just my first one would be good. :) Thanks in advance!

  4. Okay, I know how to make sure my nation gets a bonus if I just want to donate, but how do I make sure the admin knows it's me when I make a store purchase? I'm thinking of buying a TPF mousepad since mine's coming apart but I need to make sure I get my bonus. :) So is there a slot on the form for it or something? (i don't have a paypal account yet and still need to aquire parental permission, so I can't tell)

  5. I haven't finished reading the post directly above but so far i have a problem w/ fixing the ships. in cn, there's no such thing as partial damage. at least not right now anyway.

Not sure I like the merchant idea either. Those should probably go under Improvements and require a Harbor. The Navy should be more for military purposes

  6. How about 3 classes of Navy, like the air force is divided into bombers and fighters?

    Submarines for blockades:

There would have to be limits, such as only 1 blocked resource per attack, with only two attacks, and it only works when they person collects taxes the next day. If the person had enough money to risk waiting a day, then that attack becomes null, at least for that effect.

Blockades also add double the defense of tanks until they're destroyed, and block foreign aid.

If the blocked nation tries to send out ships and attack, the blockade will use the same system as the aerial dogfight for the airforce to determine how many boats on each side took a hit from torpedos. Only submarines can be used to destroy other submarines.

    Aircraft carriers:

Having one adds +5 aircraft limit. Having more than that increases your airforce strength by 2%. Each level has a greater defense rating.

    Battleships:

These can be used to destroy other battleships or destroy carriers. These can also attack a nation's infra directly from the coast, but does only up to 5 infra since it has the other capabilities.

all 3 can be sunk by submarines.

    how does that sound?

  7. blocking all trades seems pretty extreme to me, and is unfair to people w/ poor resources. how about instead for every Navy attack w/ a certain kind of ship the effects of a traded-for resource will be negated for the next day? you could go up to 2, it would be random, and it would keep people from abusing it while still making it a powerful attack
