I am sure if you actually sat and talked with people though, you'd find not very many people (if any) actually hate you, and just didn't like the way you were RPing on your former nation/this one, of course I dont know this for sure, but I tend to be optimistic about stuff like this, because the majority of Cybernations players aren't complete jerks.

Your signature got my girlfriend angry at me because she thought I was watching porn.

The bright side is she obviously doesn't know what a porn site looks like.

The bad side is that I am enjoying your signature to much <_<

2. "The United States approves of this organization dedicated to protecting the Pope and those of the Vatican. It is nice to see an organization that seems to have no offensive objectives to other religions. If you ever need anything you are more then welcome to come into the United States."
Said President David.

3. Ash Wednesday

This afternoon Islanders flocked to their local churches to receive their ashes.
"It was a beautiful thing to see everyone with there ashes" said Vice President Robert, "I love to see everyone connected with their faith."

With so many churches packed the Treasury of The United States Catholic Churches (TTUSCC) is trying to raise money to either expand or make new Churches. President David has in fact given some of his own money for plans to build a cathedral in Douglas and another in New Dublin.

For Lent the President reported that he would be giving up alcohol.

4. "It is said that everyone in the Vatican, meaning the Pope and Cardinals, are influenced and do the will of the Holy Spirit. If the blessed Trinity wants us to work together then the Catholic churches in the United States will stand by it's Holy Father all the way.
You have the support of the US Catholic churches Father, whatever you need we will give."

Father Peter sat back down and continued on the second decade of the rosary he was on. He acknowledged the Cardinals around him who were now more apparent and felt even more honored to be in the room.

Earlier actions taken to ensure security of the United States have been canceled but the orders were successfully taken out. (Orders concerning Muslims)

DEFCON Level

The United States DEFCON Level is now four. Previously it was at three however it will now be at four and probably five soon.

The United States is entering peace mode.

"Due to the structure of our government it would be extremely hard to officially ratify a legally-binding Mutual Defense Pact with any nation. Rather, I offer to sign an Alliance Agreement with the United States of the Islands. While essentially a MoDoAP treaty on paper, I would consider it morally binding between you, as the President of the United States, and me, as the Steward of the Free Association. So long as you fight the morally righteous fight, we will fight alongside you to the death."

"Agreed. Do you have a draft or would you like us to draft one up?"

"He was chosen by all the Roman Catholic cardinals at the time"
"Satis bene" (very well) Peter Said. He sat back done, most of his questions answered and a few still boiling in his brain.

8. Father Peter stood, "How was His Holiness Chosen? Surely by The Collage of Cardinals? Maybe an appropriate list of Cardinals should be made?"

Peter wanted to ensure that a Collage of Cardinals did exist.

9. [s](Edit)

"As far as recognizing a current Pope, the Holy See lies in Rome - doesn't it? So for a Pope to be elected, theoretically, wouldn't He have to reside and govern in Rome (in the Holy See)? Also, he would have to be elected by a majority of Cardinals.

There seems to be a hole in the Church's - if not all Church's history - so maybe we should get some type of order in the Church?" Father Peter held his breath then continued, "I am thinking 'Who am I to say this?' however I will say it anyway.
In order for the church to be set back in order Bishops and Cardinals need to be put into position.

Although it might stray from tradition this one time, maybe each nation should have their Catholic priests gather to have a - well- the first Bishop Conclave.

While the Priests are in Conclave, they would discuss how said nation would be set up into districts to be represented by Bishops. If this does not take to long, then possibly the Conclave could vote on who the Bishop's will be. Once the Bishops are elected by the Priests, their Conclave will end and they can return to their churches. The new Bishops will gather together and have a Cardinal Conclave. They will elect a Cardinal from amongst themselves.

Once one Cardinal is elected from said nation, all the Cardinal's from each nation should go to the Holy See in Rome and hold a Papal Conclave to elect a Pope.

I know this is a bold move however if you want law and order in the Church we will need to do this. Deacon's can be put into position later because they are important, however not vital.

Now to be clear, traditionally there is not a Cardinal for each nation. So, when the Pope is elected, he will be able to draw districts around the world and decide how big of a district a cardinal represent. In example, there might be one Cardinal to represent all of the British Isles however at first Scotland, the United States, Ireland, and England might have a Cardinal to continue and save the Church.

What does everyone think of this?"

Father Peter Johnson stood and awaited responses from anyone willing; particularly looking over at Maria.
Peter was nervous however wanted his Church united.[/s]

OOC: I misread the first and second post. I am going to put I approve however I want to ensure that the Pope is male correct?

No. We don't. Why is it assumed in the first place that all Muslim nations are 'bad' to begin with?
"We were insinuating that some people may have that perception because a few Muslim nations messed up and we were hoping this new nation could be an example to the rest of the world that Islamic nations can be peaceful. I am sorry we were so offensive."

The "United States" & Scotland fail to realize that a minority of Muslims including Islamic nations have even been involved in any conflict.
"What we said was that hopefully this nation can show that not all Muslim nations are bad. I suppose you didn't understand the wording."

Great Britain must make some notes:

The Ottoman Republic no longer exists as a sovereign entity and is under occupation by Coaltion forces until further notice whilst the insurgency is quelled.
The Republique De Fleuve no longer exists as a sovreign entity and the terrotory is to be transferred back to Rebel Army.

"Hence the word 'former.'"

"All African nations, including the People's Republic of Africa, are now allowed to send citizens into the United States as long as they obtain a visa as before and as long as the nation meets the criteria to have this type of diplomatic relation with us.
The exceptions for this nation are:

-The former Ottoman Republic
-Former Republic Du Fleuve

These areas are still under investigation."

The People's Republic of Africa is disappointed that a nation, such as the United States, would stoop to such lows as racial profiling.
"Not racial profiling, whether they are brown, black, white, blue, or purple if they are from Africa then they now have restrictions against them except for two nations. I apologize my friend, this will be sorted out shortly. This was an act of congress, I vetoed the bill but unfortunately a two thirds majority over ruled me. I will see to it you are the first taken off the list. You have my deepest apologies."
