1. It is about time to get a gain in the sanction standings! Tenth is an ok place, but five would be better... time to go nation hunting and see if ODN can score some reasonable recruits...
 2. Hello peeps!!! Just stopping by to check on our humble abode among the many nations screaming for attention...
 3.
gtfo KP no one wants you here.
YES WE DO!
 4. Are you new to CyberNations? Are you a CN Veteran? Are you seeking a challenge? Are you up for having some fun? Fear not, ODN is here! The Orange Defense Network is a democratic union, not just an alliance of dictators and power hungry individuals. We care about every member within our alliance and within our colour sphere. We seek to find a common unity and a common goal among all alliances. We strive to curb rogue nations and we work to silence the beast of war. In the time of war, we rely on one another to crush the opposition to a pulp - yet keeping tact and formality. We do not fear a good challenge, because challenges only make us stronger! ODN is not here to gain members to just boast about numbers, we are here because we enjoy being a community. ODN members are more than statistics, we are Comrades with talent, uniqueness, and individuality. Everyone's voice is important (even when the opinion is negative). We do not cast out those with strong opinions, we actually thrive off of a good debate. I could go on and on to try and convince you about who we are and what we do as an alliance, but what I have thus far stated is more than enough to get your adventure started. We would like you to come visit us, even join us, but if you ultimately decide to run off and join someone else, we are perfectly open to the idea. We give opportunity to everyone (even if mistakes are made)! Each of us have areas to grow in and if we can prune and encourage one another, we will become a stronger people and a closer alliance. Just to feed your curiosity, here are some tid-bits about ODN (I am not going to post a whole lot of information and political rhetoric to grab your attention, I am going to let your natural instincts take hold)... 5.
Did anyone catch where he was supposed to kiss the "Emperor's ankle strap"? I have an ankle strap? Why do I have one? Am I under house arrest? If I am Hitler, can't I get someone to take off my ankle strap? What is it connected to? Is it connected to ... fascism? I want to get to the bottom of this ankle strap thing.
LOL, think of a Roman sandal ankle strap.
 6. Join ODN Today, because Orange Juice is an excellent and healthy choice for your Nation!!!
 7. May you use your nukes sparingly... Congrats on the milestone.
 8. It is nice to have a little humility once and awhile. Sometimes, a little respect can carry you a long way. (A little rule of diplomacy... kind of like your Achilles' heel!)
 9.
The greatest crime of the original was that it was long-winded, overwrought, and dense. To atone, you have written an apology that is also long-winded, overwrought, and dense. We aren't moving in the right direction here.
I really tried to write a short and sweet apology. I am simply sorry for my belligerent and wayward actions. No, my apology was not 'generated', it was written out from my own brain.
 10. Beloved CyberNations; I want to offer a sincere apology if I have created an atmosphere of hostility and offence. In understanding the heavy tone of my personal expressions, I hope that my future communications will be received in a respected manner and I shall offer the same due respect. I only hope to progress and not regress! CN has hundreds of members and a wake of self-imposed turbulence has transpired from my actions. I have been reminded that we are a unique and diverse group and that we all enjoy honesty and in-depth game play. I hope that I can remember to seek a common ground but without relinquishing the true essence of competitive gaming. In this grave hour of my sad heart, I am sorry for making a donkey of myself and beg for mercy. There is light at the end of this dark story ... I was kindly asked to re-evaluate some of my personal remarks when I post in any forum or any subject that concerns or excites the CN Community in the future. There are deep divides (at times) that we each hold and we are reminded to use these differences sparingly and tenderly without damaging the overall result of what we are trying to express... Unless war is the only option left on the table. I am wholeheartedly reminded to have straightforward articulation in my thoughts, words, and actions, (even if my motive is to express my deepest concerns). I need to learn from the great writers of CN and shut my big fat mouth and learn something. CN has progressed in size and number over the years and it has seen its fair share of disagreements, fights, and resolves. I understand we each have fierce passions over our Alliances ... therefore I need to learn and remember to think of the other side's point of view even if I may totally disagree. I alone made the mistake of overstepping CN boundaries and I alone have to pay for my mistakes. Everyone that called me out and every member that told me to go screw off is absolutely right. I hope that I can crawl away from this catastrophe and learn a few things about CN and her people. I am deeply sorry CN.
 11.
Writing is usually this bad for one of two reasons: 1. Satire 2. The writer is involved in the social sciences in some way.
What the hell is wrong with social sciences?
 12.
Who is this C.S. Lewis and what credibility does he have in this world? (OOC: About as much in here as he does outside of this world elsewhere) On top of this, you made a huge stink about leaving, if you left quietly nothing would have happened, but instead you made a thread on our forums in a similar manner to this one and get angry at us when we call you out for it?
I am not making a stink about anything. I respect NPO for who she is.
 13.
The idea that autocratic, totalitarian, or dictatorial systems of alliance government are "false" and evil is simply silly.
We will see, we will see. Thanks to everyone that has participated in this conversation. I look forward to a fruitful future on CN. I could be a stupid fool for leaving the NPO and I could be an idiot for wanting to embrace democratic principles, but I will have to wallow in my own choosing... after all, isn't the freedom of choice what makes us better? I leave you this quotation from C.S. Lewis: “We all want progress, but if you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the individual who turns back soonest is the most progressive.”
 14. And this is what I am talking about, this is the problem that I have been trying to address:
CnaedmacAilpn of NPO formally stated: Democracy, is for the weak, democracy is the ultimate form of corruption. Only through strength and unity is there any future, we are that future. So for the moment I will continue to polish my shield of honour and sword of righteousness. Until the day comes to curb-stomp anyone foolish enough to stand against either us or our doctrine. Last time it took some of the strongest on planet BOB to pull us down, but even then we were not destroyed. Like the Phoenix we are arisen, like the lion, strong. Go back to your masters, puppet. Tell them this, NPO is back, and we are here to stay.
Looks like we have a problem still...
 15.
All I see are more vague accusations with nothing to back them up. Did you even read my post?
Yes, I did read what you said.
 16.
Wow. Just wow... I'm glad you left to be honest. Since you were a member of the Order for so long, I would have thought that you would have seen that we have no interest in anything you really speak of, but if you want to live in your own fantasy world and think that the "ebil NPO" is still out to get you (even though you were a member for the better part of the year 2010) then you can continue and I will enjoy my popcorn. I worked with the Red Sphere to make it better. The rest of the Red Dawn alliances have worked just as hard (possibly even harder) to help unaligned nations which your (I am unsure if I should say this yet since apparently you're still an applicant in ODN) allies have been raiding. You had no clue in which you are talking about because you never did anything. You never took part in anything in my memory relating about anything to the alliance. How can you make these claims if you have no clue as to what was happening? I get it, you couldn't have had these opinions come out all of a sudden one day, so you must have had some doubts about us as a member. What did you do about it? Nothing. Did you attempt to concoct these thoughts in a coherent manner in order for the 500 some odd members of Pacifica to clear up these confused thoughts in your head? No you did not. Here's five francos, buy yourself a clue about what's going on before you rant about it.
I will repeat with what I said on your forums:
The problem is the alienation of the people's voice and the advancement of a certain few individual's ideas. Your form of government is commendable when you listen to your less fortunate members, yet you refuse to listen to anyone outside of your own self-centred beliefs. It would be nice to see a more solidified and productive NPO, the day this happens is the day I will gravel in humility and kiss the very ankle strap of the Emperor and petition for the mercies of the NPO Republic.
Ding, check please!
 17.
So quickly you leave the nest, from a die hard NPO person writing speches and essays to now writing about the "flaws" you see in the NPO. Forgive me Cata, I see now who it is and this makes a little more sense.
Orange Juice is healthy for you, trans(-Pacific) fat is not. I was a die hard member of NPO long ago. Perfect example of my actions: John Newman was a die hard of the Anglican Communion, but after realising the truth he switched his allegiance to an institute that actually strived to embrace the truth.
 18.
I'll be damned. I thought you had us figured out already. It's funny watching you make all of these accusations yet you know nothing about what is going on inside of our alliance. I'm sorry that you regard our rebuilding and offering olive branches to everyone as suspicious.
Olive branches? Or is it a way to distract us so you can sneak into our halls and wreak havoc at your convenience?
 19.
The amount of thought that ODN is putting into the NPO these days is a bit weird seeing as there is no more thought of ODN in the NPO other than to chuckle at their antics every once and awhile. This crazyness from someone who has yet to catch up to current times is.. well... crazy. Name ONE instance that has occured AFTER Karma that is even relevant to this pile of steaming !@#$%^&*. If you can name one CURRENT and RELEVANT point to support this theory when talking about the NPO than maybe just maybe you are worth the wasted pixels. Until such arguement can be made about a current issue regarding the NPO you should see a Doctor about your unhealthy and delusional obsession.
Are you afraid something scandalous might be exposed within your ranks?
 20.
Good to see you spent a long time writing up the treaty.
Sarcasm is always the sumptuous vice of diplomacy. I would like to see where this 'treaty' goes. What is said in the halls of the assembly will always be tested in the onslaught of war.
 21.
No. They don't. There was this war called the Karma War. You may have heard about it.
I am all too well reminded of that bloody mess. Yet, if I recall right, a few changes were made in the upper tier of government and yet, none of the true underlying issues were resolved. The NPO (and others of their like) will continue down the same path, all over again, and try to turn the tables abound on CN this time. The problem is not IF they are going to enact the Moldavi Doctrine and CN Supremacy, but WHEN! Two words: Diplomatic Coercion (kind of like what Hitler did with the Treaty of Versailles) I can see the current standing government in the same light as the Hitler Regime; either reform has to come or another trip down memory lane might come to pass.
 22.
It's not with the NPO in general, it has to do with how it (being NPO in this case) carries itself... So we can agree here that this is about NPO. My real question is that why does an ODN member care so much about NPO?
Doesn't the NPO reach far and wide with their domineering demands and principles? I would rather talk about how fast the grass is growing outside, but the issue that needs to be addressed is how Alliances can coerce people into believing one idea while doing the exact opposite. Wouldn't this be a deceptive diplomatic practice? Each major Sanctioned Alliance (and their respective sub-particles) have a necessary need to be aware of the other colour spheres. What happens in one sphere ultimately has effect on all other spheres. Some words that come to mind are: Autocracy, Totalitarianism, and Aristocracy... even at times, Bureaucracy. Therefore, it is of necessity that I, an ODN member, concern myself with the politics and governing policies of other colour spheres.
 23.
I love that people still can't get over NPO. Every time I see some butthurt individual nattering irrationally about the same old boogeyman, it makes me even more proud to be allied to them than I was the last time some butthurt individual nattered irrationally about my boogeyman ally.
This reminds me of a contagious rash... you put soothing cream on the problem and it gets worse... you try to medicate the problem and it turns into a nasty plague... It is important to address the coercive and deceptive practices of those who try to hide behind a wall of unity and abstract diplomacy. The issue is not with the NPO in general, it has to do with how it carries itself... How so? Rub a stick of TNT on sandpaper and tell me what the results are...
 24.
Comrades who frequent these parts will know of my fondness for critiquing articles like this which purport to engage with political theory. They will know of my joy at deconstructing the premises, at finding contradictions in the logic, at contrasting the claims to historical precedent, at taking the predictions to their logical conclusions. There is rarely a chance to engage in such that I will let slip me by. Yet here one finds oneself at a crossroads. Looking through the article it glistens with words like 'fascist', 'totalitarian', 'intellectual' and 'indoctrination', and thus superficially begs for analysis and rebuttal. But on the other hand, it is complete and utter gibberish. There is no logical argument, no structure to speak of, and no concluding claim. In substance it begins and ends with a single unsupported assumption, and in form it is of an unkempt man shouting angrily at inanimate objects on a bus. Perhaps this, and not your self-proclaimed reason of being a "social intellectual", is why your writings were apparently rejected within the Order.
That is fine... I will cut essays by 50%-60% of current size and provide an outline... :/
