More spread out means more chance of people not being as connected, so more chance of fun wars. Compared to everyone being connected and not so many alliances. So yea, what I say doesn't completely solve it, but it helps.

I think more AA's help this game. I think the problem, you should look at your own alliance, but also most in general, and that is excessive treaty signing. Everyone is signed to everyone, and what do you expect when everyone is friends?
