He appears to be doing quite well in his two offensive wars (one Invicta, one Legion), but not so well in his three defensive wars (all against Legion). Plus he's out of warheads. If he was up against a different alliance, I'd say he was in some trouble as you guys do have him staggered but Legion is notorious for letting people escape staggers.

Plus anyone who hits Funk is getting a face full of Berbers :P

Patented? Every coward in the game has tried this turtling/fake out crap against me so far. Most of them are still fighting against our lowest of nations.

He's not doing a fake out, he's realizing he can't win and turtling like a punk.

Let's see how the next 7 days play out :D

    Don't mess with NATO.

I think the problem is from the PoV of some within Oculus White Peace is a defeat, as they have fought a war in which they were unable to impose any terms (surrender being a term, a mild one compared to others being thrown around nowadays, but a term nonetheless), and so the opposition can claim that they haven't been beaten (which they obviously will).

It's a silly view IMO, it's pretty easy for Oculus to claim victory in essentially every military sense even if the war ends in white peace, so there really is no reason not to offer it. But obviously they don't see it that way, so they will continue to fight nations with $10+ billion forever.

Agreed, the CB for the war was the sanction on Sengoku, the attacks on GOONS and previous threats by Bones against NPO during the MI6-Oculus war, none of those are particularly relevant anymore. SPATR maintains a senator, but since Oculus isn't on pink anymore, and they haven't sanctioned anyone else in Oculus despite the ability to do it without retaliation, so that isn't really a concern for you guys.

Oculus started it by sanctioning the greatest AA of all time...Helheim

The benefit is that the game dies. Is that not obvious?

    Another guy who gets it.

From an insider with direct knowledge of the war scheming, I can confirm that this is entirely inaccurate. I cannot, however, confirm the same for your AA's entry into the war.

That saying about glass houses and throwing stones seems appropriate here.

Ok I guess you really needed Polar to win this war, very sorry.  Also there must be no chance of a Polar MDP ally getting pulled in on the losing side.

I apologize for my clearly flawed analysis.

AFAIK my AA had no path to the losing side, so...not sure where that comparison stands in terms of truth. Then again I barely pay attention to anything other than blowing up pixels and apparently Polar being scum.

I'd qualify that time right in the run-up to Equilibrium War being on top of the world, if I'm remembering things correctly. The entire war was literally crafted around NG's positions and completely fell apart for the eventual "victors" because some alliance (probably one I hate now) triggered NG. Things were downhill from there though, but only the most special of alliances king-make more than once.

I remember that, Polar literally broke the world forever with their fail and aids.

If NG does all work, we're NPO puppets (alternatively, we're firmly sat upon NPO's "lap"). If Umb comes in, we must be somehow making them "do all [our] heavy lifting." There really is no winning.

I proffer the following possibility: what if, I know this is a long shot, but, what if those Umb members just wanted to, and NG didn't even ask for such coverage? The Blood Gods know I would have taken a slot if I had been out of anarchy soon enough (believe you me, I was eyeing stylesjj for the night of the 26th). I sincerely apologize that I, and others also in forced nuclear anarchy at the end of the first round, were unable to take those slots at that time. I know many of us are crying over the lost casualties that our friends are now gobbling up.

Nonetheless, how rude would we be if we didn't share in this tech raid? You know, I realized something important from this reply to your very legitimate concern. Maybe... maybe friendship, as much as NG values it, is more important than pixels, even those reporting on casualties. Maybe we should be celebrating this opportunity to bond with our friends over rolling your alliance. What an important life lesson you have taught me. Thank you. (Sorry if that is a sore spot... I know not all of your friends view joining you on the battlefield the same way we do.)

Gross, are you really friends with Umbrella now?  You guys used to have standards :(
