Are we back to calling NPO Polar's Big Brother? You of all people should know better. I'd expect that sort of nonsensical accusation from Penkala or the likes, but you? Man am I disappointed.

Skipping 15 pages mostly to reply to this.

No, actually, I was making an Orwellian reference to the omnipresent Big Brother, which in and of itself was a tongue in cheek reference to the belief that most of the maneuvering that will occur during this war will revolve around trying to involve the NPO (thus they'll be omnipresent in the minds of those fighting and maneuvering, hence Big Brother).

But now I had to ruin it by explaining :(

and we will see which allies are true ones.

I'll confess I don't really expect you to pull your allies in, especially not ones tied to Big Brother. Granted, whether an alliance rides to your defense or not is not the only determining factor in what makes one a "true ally," but I can't imagine I'm the only one who read it that way upon a first pass.

Okay, in all seriousness since this is an OOC forum, I'm worried here. The game can't afford another curbstomp like this and yet it appears Polar has no chance. Good for karmic justice, bad for the health of the game.

    Oh well.

If the administrator of the game isn't concerned, why should we be?

Anarch has been demasked from the CN portions of our forum. A Knight of the Mushroom Kingdom means more than just a ruler of a Bobian nation

OOC: We play other games and have other activities.

It's ok, Banksy. They're used to destroying communities, and I'm sure old habits die hard. We can't expect them to understand something like this. Clearly, there has been great difficulty in grasping it thus far.

According to MK, you are responsible for the actions of a masked member. And I checked just now, he's a masked member.

    Specifically:

<Yevgeni> Assuming he was a member up until a hour ago, he did what he did under your banner.
<Yevgeni> And, as such, as obviously he is completly unable to pay, it is up to you to pay for his mistakes. That's how alliances work and you do know that.
Took you long enough to bring that up. Gosh.

What I am quite curious about, though, is how you know whether he's masked or not. Actual member privileges and access granted as a member of the Mushroom Kingdom alliance on Planet Bob (OOC: As opposed to the other communities we support) is granted via an invisible submask.

So, short of having admin access on the Kingdom forums, I'd love to know how you know whether that mask was revoked or not. :)

Well I am glad that you are glad, though do not give me too much credit--- the fact of supporting a rogue on other alliance is globally considered not kosher and will more often then not cause a unfavorable reaction from the harmed party.
I'm trying to remember if it was Vengashii or someone else who went rogue from the NPO on some alliance(s) and was roundly cheered. I cba to find the thread, however.

Calling them girls would insult the female gender, bullies are a subspecies of humans who have no regard for anyone else but themselves. They are also usually created out of insecurities in their own minds. The need to lash out and try to justify to themselves that they are not just sad, scared pathetic losers on the inside.

I want to cling to this for a moment and bask in the glow of it. This just made everything from the previous day worth it.

And I hope the Aqua Senate doesn't start treating nuclear rogues differently depending on their target.

    Mostly Harmless Alliance
    Fark
    Ragnarok

What could that set of three Alliance Affiliations possibly mean? What could it mean that Mushroom Kingdom is not among them? What bearing might that have on your speculation right there?

    STAY TUNED

As Archon pointed out, Alliance leaders usually get special attention in wars, as part of a misguided belief that wrecking their nation will have an effect on the duration/outcome of a war.
However, sometimes that works out well, in that alliance leaders often duel. I count both Electron Sponge and mhawk among my friends, and those friendships really started from the wars we fought, not just as alliance but as individual nations (I'd say I won my individual against Sponge, but mhawk wiped the floor with me with his x2 tech advantage :()

There were wars before bi-polar...Like the WoTC, where MK entered knowing they entirely well that they might be disbanded. Furthermore, MK fought NpO who was either third or fourth in the game in the unjust war.
We fought NpO and MCXA (back when MCXA was a decent alliance, pre-TSO) at the same time, actually.

  9. It's also worth noting that leaders of alliance tend to get a lot of special attention in wars, which may affect their standing.

I'm actually kind of impressed my nation is doing as well as it is, all things considered. That time on PZI lists sure didn't help.

Edit: And 4.5 years is not "almost 5". Don't make me feel older than I need to.

And this right here is why at some point in the future MK will be on the world's hit list...don't expect any reparations demands. Heavy reparations (ones at one point I objected to strongly and publicly, btw) were tried once and they didn't work.
Unless I'm reading that wrong, that's quite an interesting implication you're trying to communicate.
