    I never thought losing 400 infra could be that much fun. No joke, I had a ball fighting my Valhallan opponents. I'd like to thank them for putting up a great fight and I'd like to thank the fellow Legionnaires and the IAA member Deader-e-do of Peru stinks for helping me out when my Valhallan opponents were having too much fun :P . Hopefully Valhalla and the Legion be able to work more closely in the future. Let's make purple an awesome place to be in. (Yes, I know my nation is on black team, yes I still want purple to be an awesome place. :) )

    Statement from GOONS RE: OOC Actions

    I think I can speak for many people around here when I say that I am relieved and happy that the GOONS leadership is doing their best to rectify the situation. If the offender isn't banned immediately, we should set up some sort of perma-ZI task force across all alliances, to show others who consider crossing the line what we all think of OOC threats and abuse.

    Since \m/ and Valhalla have an MADP Valhalla was obligated to come to the defense of \m/.

    Exactly: Valhalla upheld a treaty. I, as a Legionnaire, see no problem with that. I'm glad that noWedge made absolutely certain that everyone knew that Valhalla intended to uphold all of its treaties. While I don't exactly like getting declared on, I won't hold a grudge because of it. The Legion is pretty much the only major combatant in this conflict that Valhalla doesn't have a treaty with (or a treaty with an alliance they had a treaty with - confusing? a little, yes. Example: attacking ODN would probably have brought the wrath of NpO, etc.); if they had attacked anyone else there would have been negative repercussions for Valhalla and its membership. If they had stayed out completely, it would have angered a lot of people on both sides.

    As for the Legion's entry into the war, again, there is nothing fishy at all. If we had declared on GOONS, we would have satisfied the defense clause or the optional-aggression clause of our pact with ODN; which part would have been activated is moot at this point. But we didn't declare on GOONS, we declared on \m/. And for that, we also have a solid casus belli: \m/'s extortion attempt on us before global hostilities commenced. That's all she wrote.

    So Valhalla and the Legion both have logical and air-tight reasons for going to war. Turns out it's with each other. Things happen, but stranger things happen in war. Welcome to the fray, Valhalla; may the best alliance win. this is a smiley who is tipping it's hat

    As for any disrespect towards \m/, I don't believe I've read a single post saying "OMG \m/ suxx0rs at teh fightinz!!" at all in this topic or anywhere else that I frequent. We are disgusted with the outright insulting actions of the leadership of \m/ but that is all. Now that they have had a day to recover from our update blitz, \m/ will be able to mount a coordinated counterattack. I have no doubt that they will put up one hell of a fight.

    And I was actually slightly insulted by the pirates/soldiers comment a few pages back, because pirates beat ninjas any day of the week. :P Yarr...

    And sleepy, I love corndogs....

    Once, I called you comrade. Then in a long ago war you betrayed us. I never forgot that betrayal and harbored a major grudge over it for over a year. Tonight as we once again fight as comrades I release you from all indemnity in my eyes. In my opinion you have fulfilled your oath. May you be victorious in war and prosperous in the peace to come.     Glad to be fighting on the side of truth, justice, and ORRPLE-ey goodness. But "The Justice League" is just too stuffy for me. Someone, somewhere, called it "the Mixed Bag" because so many different alliances from so many different backgrounds joined up to beat the crap our of UjP. So....
